A few of us (about 15 or so) local hockey fans have thought of a cool way to make noise.

Cowbells :D Not big loud ones, but loud enough that if 15 were rang together it would hurt the ears. I think Sacramento Kings fans also did the same

We may have the worst junior A team in all of Alberta, but damnit at least they are gonna play in the ring with the loudest fans!!

Heh, after tommorow night we might also have the deafest... :p

it goes with the whole winter sports, alpine thingy :)

probably alot better than those stoopid horns as well :)

You mean those big long horns that people blow into?

I have one of them as well. :D

Funny how a guy like me who can make plenty of noise with just my voice looks for and gets additional noise makers huh?

I could NEVER mutilate my voice enough to sing that crap. I would sing "I touch myself" ;)

I'm thinking he meant air horns. Those are super annoying. Especially if the dumbass who wants to blow it every five seconds is sitting behind you.

Ohhh...

Yeah those are annoying as hell.. Great to use when goals are scored, but that's it..

No no, I use the long piped horns that one puckers up and blows through to make a loud sound. I figure all that puckering up one day may actually come into handy use in other areas :D

Sacramento Kings have the loudest stadium in the country. Last year they took sound readings during the playoffs and at one point those "little" cowbells where more than twice as loud as your average rock concert.

Exactly our thought.. It would be deafening if even 100 people in a small barn that holds 800 at most had cowbells...

We already get told by some teams that our place is loud.. Some of us just aren't happy with plain 'ol loud though, we want teams to dread playing in our rink, even if the hockey team sucks! :)
