What do you keep in your car? Stuff you always have with you....

In mine -
Rego papers, first aid box, blanket, 4l bottle of water, small tool kit, canvas shopping bags, umbrella, chainsaw and fuel, phone charger, ipod cable, jumper cables, lighter, inox.

I have most of these in a carry box so I can transfer them easily between cars.

AutoGlym kit in the boot that came with the car. Tools and stuff, I have no clue what they do. Spare oil (came with the car, am not that vigilant).

A star Christmas decoration I bought from Southwell Minster, some cherry TicTacs, tons of CDs, a chapstick and a cherry air freshener.

Tools in my truck and an old, cheap pistol.

The wife is like you, loaded down with emergency crap which means, ~ta-da~, shopping requires my truck...

lol break (because then she is without supplies unless she buys them all over again)

... I figure, in an emergency, the former can get me the latter.
