since some of you claim I lie.....

Okay, I really don't want to pile on here, but, I'm just a wee bit puzzled by one thing in particular:
  • Masters in English Lit.
  • Masters thesis comparing two American authors.

Not really. There is a graduate school there; it just doesn't offer any degrees in English.

Ah, so it wouldn't be a college then. Confirmation. Thanks.

Crack open the WSJ on any given day and read about private equity funds raising billions to invest in AE, particularly ethanol plants. FT called it nascent, but that's not good enough for Nostradamus.

Possibly its an inability to understand what 'nascent' means? Allow me help:

Yes, but then you said you don't invest in that industry. Even as Ethanol cars are taking over the roa-

oh wait a minute, predictamundo, they aren't....

Two things you could have done better:

1) Go to investopia.com and learn about P/Es. Then, try to understand why it was a determinant for me not investing in ethanol. Feel free to PM me if you need help with the concept.

2) Go to Ford.com and learn about its 'Way Forward' initiative and the role E85 plays in it. Then, go to your local parking lot and look for the yellow 'E85' gas cap on cars. Note: those are cars that can run on a mixture of 85% ethanol/15% gasoline and they're on the road today.

Happy to educate you, Nostradamus.

You want LT to go out and pop open a few gas cap covers, when the prices are this high?

Pretty sneaky.

Can you imagine? A black man going around a parking lot opening peoples gas caps. I hope they catch it on those cop videos when they start giving him the "Rodney" treatment.

Well, it's a graduate school that operates at a college. I suppose he might split hairs about whether he said he got his Master's degree "at" a particular college, meaning the location, or "from" a particular college, meaning the school. But I get your meaning: even the former is an odd way for the recipient of an advanced degree to describe it. Rather than worry about that, though, I think just the fact that the graduate school itself doesn't offer the degree at all is compelling enough.

In one sentence you say there's huge investment in ethanol and then you say you aren't investing in ethanol. Instead of shooting your own argument in the foot, you've pulled out the foot cannon to take out that last uberdefiant big toe. All in the name of the war on toerror, I suppose.

PS: ADM is doing right well for us long shotters, just so you know. So much for your price to earnings theory.

Try finding 15 on the road during the month. And they still run on gas.

Brazil has the US beat by a long, long shot.

And on top of all your shooting yourself in the foot here, there's still no net job creation in that field...

This is Islandman in a debate.

LT: "Housing prices are way beyond the average American's ability to afford."
Islandman: "No they're not! You're wrong! You lose!"
LT: "People aren't even using traditional loans any more to get houses. Hello, ARM's and interest-only?"
Islandman: "I know a guy down the street who just bought a house! See? You're wrong!"
LT: "Whoops. Well look at this. Houses are now taking longer to sell because they're too god damned expensive!!!"
Islandman: "Well duh, Nostradamus! We knew that all along!"

I dub thee... Mr. 180.

Yes indeedy, if I were white you wouldn't even be making jokes like that.

Of course, being a woman, they'd crack your skull with one hit.

Don't go poking around peoples gas caps and there won't be a problem.
I only do it when I got a bag of sugar and a funnel.

I did that once. Or twice. Okay, I've done that a lot to trash talkers in real life... Hell, I threw hot coffee on one guy's frosted car while he was getting into it. CRRRRRACK. Funny shit. He called the cops and they never showed up...

Calling a Fortune 100 company a 'long shot' is imbecilic at best, but I'm guess that's the best you can do when you have to google for answers.

There are at least 14 models on the road today that are E85.

Perhaps I should have named you 'Mr. Forgone Conclusion' instead.

Mr.180?....copycat. :D

ROTFLMAO!!!
I was talking about holding onto the stock for the long haul you stupid bitch. Got reading comprehension problems?

And E85 is still 15% oil dependent, 180. Whatever happened to those pure electric cars that used to be sold?

If you really want a true AE car get a Jeep Liberty CRD and a biodiesel filter, then contact Bio Willie...

Uh huh. Sure you were. Long-term investors have always been referred to as 'long shotters'.

I can't wait for your next 'I told you so' thread, dear boy. :cathappy:

So what happens to an E85 car when there's no gas to put in it? Does it run at 85% efficiency, or not at all?

I already know the answer, I just wanna see Islandturd dodge the question because he knows his gun is aimed right at his foot

If you think it's Scott pretending to have a girlfriend then you'd be right.

i have no doubt scott is capable of having a girlfriend -- much worse than him have managed to snag an SO, and besides, i knew a previous SO of scott's, i was quite fond of her, but then she disappeared and with this reemergence of a love interest for scotty i can't help but wonder if they're the same person or whether scott has moved on in which case i need to kick his ass.
