since some of you claim I lie.....

Looking again, I see they say they offer doctorate degrees, but I don't see where they list any specifically.
It's all about the particular school. Albany is strictly undergraduate. They are clear about that. The others offer graduate programs.

exactly, whats the point in lying about it? I have nothing to hide.
I've made this clear and I'm laughing at the trolls who have something to prove by questioning this.
I don't really care one way or the other on the subject. I looked at the school web site because I am a professional student who only works periodically between stints at different universities. I got information from hundreds of universities before I went to grad school the first time. I find looking at the web sites of different colleges and universities. I had never heard of Sage College of Albany so I looked it up.

Ya know, this would all just fall by the wayside if Scotty would just scan his diploma and post it for us.

Reminds me of a Simpsons joke. Bart gives himself a ponytail and says "look at me, I'm a graduate student. I made 30 dollars last year."

So the Masters in English remains elusive?
Scott got his by blowing a defrocked english professor at a glory hole in Poughkeepsie.

If he did that I will gladly concede the whole argument to him.
OTOH I would understand why he wouldn't do it even if he were telling the truth.
I probably wouldn't just because it's petty and I see no need to defend myself much around here.
Shit, I'm defending Scott. I gotta stop.

The Sage Colleges is an independent private institution of higher education comprised of three colleges: Russell Sage College, a comprehensive, undergraduate college for women in Troy, NY; Sage College of Albany, a co-educational undergraduate college of applied studies in Albany, NY; and Sage Graduate School, operating on both campuses and offering applied master’s and doctoral degrees.

Ah, you may have me on that one. That's what happens when you don't read the fine print.

Would the English and Modern Languages Dept be the same as the English Masters program? Because they are located specifically on the Troy, NY campus.

right, and what would that prove? Nothing. Besides, some would say I did it in Photoshop.

I know I graduated(something even I didnt think would happen)and what I accomplished. Thats not what this thread was about necessarily.

Of course they don't offer one in English Lit but I will at least concede that they do apparently offer graduate courses.

It presently does appear somewhat elusive.

The school offers no Masters degree in English.

In fact, it doesn't offer a BA in English Literature, only a BA in English.

I see a shocking lack of imagination in that.

I fucking hate Lawrence Taylor for that shit.
That guy was one of most ass kickin players in the history of the NFL. I am a redskins fan and i still look at the day when he broke joe T's leg as one of the best hits in football History, plus he can get some really good shit.

You're right. I was looking at the page for the entire system.

I’ve had the pony tail from the first time I went to grad school so I never had to regrow it. And $30/year isn’t that far off. ;)

I'm too greedy for that pro student stuff. I wanted to make money and retire young. Well, sorta young.
I didn't get out of school until I was almost 30 so I had to be extra greedy in the workforce. Plus I got a husband who's good at stocks.

I didn't find that page. But did you find anything about a degree in English Literature? I couldn't find any such degree offered at any level.

English, BA
"A Higher Degree of Choice"

Be an English major at Sage and discover….

What you’ll do….

See yourself…

* Teaching at the grade level of your choice—or at a college or university.
* Writing and editing for a magazine or newspaper, or writing books of your own.
* Being a creative force at an ad agency, a public relations firm, arts organizations or public and community service groups
* Becoming a lawyer or entering government service
* Creating films, plays and works in experimental media
* Delving into 21st century careers in artificial intelligence, computer technology, online communications, and the latest technologies.
* Wherever you go or whatever you do, you’ll be in demand for your knowledge, writing ability, analytic skills, creativity and talent for communicating thoughts and ideas.

It doesn't look like literature is the emphysis in this degree program. In fact, I don't see anything about studying literature at all.

After my first stint in grad school I worked as a consultant in the airline industry. This allowed me to purchase pretty much anything I've ever really wanted. I've never lived an extravagant lifestyle even when I had money.

Right now I think I was wrong when I thought I wanted to be a lawyer so I'm looking at what to study next.

I think I was 32 or 33 when I got my BS.
