Sin City: Welcome to Hell (ooc)

"It's time to prove to your friends that you're worth a damn. Sometimes that means dying, sometimes it means killing a whole lot of people."
Such a badassssss

Just playing Gale has got me going... so yeah.

Gale: Kuu
Marv: Tenko
Dwight: Gagonthis
Wendy: Squirt
Hardigan: Pooh

Characters unclaimed: (Going from memory here so feel free to remind me)

Nancy
Shellie
Miho (I'd be pretty willing to pick her up if we double)
Becky
Senator Rourke
The other girls of old town

This is the official list.

One of the main characters from the comic - Wallace
Wallenquist - The Kraut, mob boss

Some more minor characters:
Delia - the lady in blue
Painted Cop - killed by Marv (implied) but he could be brought back and since there's nothing on him he'd be a good blank slate
Burt Schlubb and Douglas Klump - Fatman and Little boy - Two low rate hitmen with "delusions of eloquence"

I got all sorts of others :)

So far lets get the main cast and worry bout minor characters and made ups (a possible but not definate) before getting too deep.

Also we need a general story flow...

Just tell me what plans you'd like to see for your characters, then we can come up with a common plot so the story doesn't die before it gets started.

Well it's free plot right? We're not playing within the chronology of the stories?

Far as I understand yes. We're doing this after Marv is apparently Dead, Ans Jack Rafferty. I think (But I'm not positive) that Big Fat Kill is the Last story. when most of Wallenquist's Mob is taken out.

But if Marv was Executed then I think that's the last part of the series is that. Oh well I thought we were making our own plots anyways.

Finally gets to turn my nerd knowledge on here!

Family Values was after The Big Fat Kill because Dwight references the killing of Jack Rafferty in it, though admittedly I think the end of The Hard Goodbye is the end of the timeline, as Marv is on death row for some time.

18 months, and when he is executed, I think that's the end of the entire line.

Of course I could be mistaken in that and it's entirely likely I am.

Which makes about the last three pages of 'Hard Goodbye' the end of the story.

Actually the very end of the storyline comes in one of the short stories in Booze, Broads and Bullets

Behind door number three. Wendy is seen wearing Marv's old crucifix, which supposedly she gets after visiting him the day before he's killed.

Ok. yes that is correct, or it can be asssumed. it is never assured that she took his crucifix though really Enough of his disdain for his own religion and wanting to leave something to remember him by, why wouldn't he?

Now of course squirter has already said that Wendy took his crucifix and is wearing it in remembrance of him.

Should we ever start, I intend to get that back when I learn of it. I'm not dead yet.

Well, glad that the true end of the storyline was figured out. Good to know.

Why don't we have a disappearance, a girl from Old Town. Someone who used to work the police. She is assumed missing because of a phone call she gave one of the girls (maybe Gail herself) overhearing something big and corrupt the police were doing.

That would bring in the girls from Old Town, anyone who's a cop, and anyone with an investment in not seeing the alliance between cops and old town broken.

I don't know how to fit everyone into a single common plot though... that would be complicated, and depend on how you want your character interacting with the story.

Well between that there's enough reason for almost anyone to involve themselves. If it goes to war Marv will be there for his Goldie (Wendy).

Dwight more than likely wants to see this peace kept and Marv being alive. He might still feel he owes Marv for his 'new face' and getting him to oldtown.

Hartigan as an Ex-coip likely want's to prevent this struggle anyway he can, and any host of people can be used. The Slavers, the Mafia.

Wallenquist again? And every girl we have as an Applicant other than nancy is so far an oldtown girl. And Nancy will involve that brain of hers to anything Hartigan is into.

Well Wendy is shaken after all she lost and likey has taken Gail up right along side her as the two most poewerful women in Old Town. Gail now filling in Goldies spot as well as being pretty much n charge of enforcement of the Old Town rules.

She would definatley wind anythign that came down the wire, and being a bit colder and more jaded then ever it would be bloody in her mind. So anythign that stats with her isn't likley to end well unless Marv got there and calmed her down.

Just seeing him alive after it was glaoted so much about him dieing would make her stop dead in her tracks.

Okay just so everyone knows I'm not openly familiar with all the stories, so feel free to guide me along with Gale if something seems a bit outta place.

I like the idea Pooh had, but seeing as how I'm lost on an opening, how about someone else start the thread. Just post a link to the ooc on the front page so we can get more players later.

And I suppose the story can start in Old Town with Wendy or Gale but like I said, I'm just lost on how to start this or anything else for that matter.

Well I bit the bullet, took the plunge, made the leap and all those other euphemisms and gave us a first post.

Check it out!

We are rolling people!
