Simpsons Fans Check in

I agree

Seasons 3 through 7 were the best.

That being said, in comparison with a lot of what passes for comedy, the show is still one of the funniest out there.

Count me in. Best show ever. Homer rules. Burns is right up there too.

Ralph: Me flunk English? That's unpossible

Homer: No. No, no, no, no, no! Well, yes.

Marge: Work called Homer and said if you don't come in tomorrow, don't bother coming in Monday. Homer: Woohoo! Four day weekend.

Homer: Alright brain, you don't like me and I don't like you. Let's just get through this and then I can get back to killing you with beer.

Stupid thing to start cos there are just so many brilliant oneliners here.

Some of the best episodes:

Lisa picks the football teams
Bart pretends to be Mrs. Krebapple's penpal lover/Homer quits swearing (Fiddlededee, that will require a tetnus shot)
Summer at the Flanders' beach house where Lisa acts cool (Homer ordering fireworks is priceless, ditto him blowing up the dishwasher and walking away innocently)
Timmy O'Toole
Bart gets Skinner fired
Homer takes a class to complete his high school degree
Flashback to how Homer and Marge fell in love

Dozens more but I'm coming up empty now.

The three "Best Episodes Ever:"

#1 Homer Goes into Space

#2 The Lemon Tree

#3 Monorail

My favorite line:

(Homer, in the "Behind the Laughter" episode):
"I'd like to set the record straight: I thought the cop was a prostitute."

Best show everrrrr. Excellent.

Amongst my husband and our close friends, the dropping of 'Simpsons-isms' has become so common I don't think we even realize half the time when we're doing it!

They just showed the one where Homer gets the medicinal marijuana for his glaucoma over here on Sunday night. Jeezum crow! When he made that comment about Dubya's monkey face, I almost died laughing.

Tramampoline!

Trabopoline!

"They call 'em fingers, but I've never seen 'em fing. Whoa, there they go."

Best show ever. I agree.

Saxamaphone...

Homer'isms: great words from a great man.

Thrillhouse said:
"They call 'em fingers, but I've never seen 'em fing. Whoa, there they go."

hee hee!

"It smells like the art teacher's office!"

Homer

Homer Simpson is the kind of man every guy wishes he could be.

Homerism

Oh Lisa, you and your stories. Bart is a vampire. Beer kills brain cells. Now lets go back to that building... thingy... where our beds and TV... is.

Oh Lisa, everyone know that vampires are make-believe, just like elves and leprechauns and Eskimos.

Checking in. I'd like to call attention to all the great characters who have been forgotten in this thread. Characters like Hans Moleman, Sunjub, Klu Klux Klam, Seacaptain Macallistar, Gladys Skinner, Akira and many more.

Hey Everybody!

I think we are forgetting about Dr. Nick Riviera.

Just call 1 800 DOCTORB-- the "B" is for bargains!
