stop all form of government aide to higher education. no more government grants, no more pell grants, no move tax payer money to the education system.

this will force those greedy little fuckers in education to wake up and reduce their costs structure. no longer will professors enjoy tenure. no longer will teachers be able to spend 20 years on a sabbatical. universities will reduce their head count by 2/3 and only employ TEACHERS

And tell professional sports to build and pay for their own fucking boot camps. That way there's more room for kids who really want to learn something.

Our biggest problem with education is simply that it's fucktarded. I mean, when you take EFD classes, you're taught Piagetian logic that has no practical application in the classroom. Teachers don't know how to teach, and students don't want to learn. That's the problem. We don't really see issues with students who want to learn. But we have this entire social structure that lists priorities ass backwards. For example, we "teach to the test" but the test doesn't teach us applicable life skills. I can write a five paragraph essay on any-fucking thing, but I can't tell you why my car won't start or use logic to pursuade you to do anything. I obviously don't understand global politics and I'm so ethnocentric that our whole country is the annoying teenager of the world running around screaming, "I'M THE COOLEST MOTHERFUCKER HERE!" and we are, for whatever reason, fine with that.

We don't hold kids accountable for anything- it's so hard to fail someone, and if you do, you're told that you didn't teach well enough- when 9 times out of 10 that little fuck wasn't paying attention and you aren't allowed to punish him because the school is so scared of getting sued. The problems with the American School System, at it's core, can be traced back to motivation. Teachers aren't properly instructed or compensated, and you expect them to put in years and years of work- you run out of fucks to give. Kids are unmotivated in general, you have one or 2 in every class who genuinely give a shit, but the rest are there to put in their time, talk to the chick they like, and go the fuck home.

I don't know what the solution is, but you can give an idiot as many grants as you want, and his ass will still either get to lazy to go and drop out, or fail like I did. If you aren't motivated, you won't succeed. The issue is one of culture- one of learned helplessness, not one of monetary policy.
