But, is it possible for the "location" tag in one's profile to change on them to an old one when you know you didn't change it yourself?

Earlier I was looking at one of my posts and noticed my "location" changed to an old one I was using before my current one. (I just changed it back to the "new" one a minute ago.)

that's odd, it's a field to which i generally pay no attention since nobody uses it for actual physical location. :> however, if it works like the sigs, then it posts them w/ each post, rather than being driven by your user profile.

Yeah, I know the location gets "posted" with each post. That's how I noticed it changed on me. Back when I was using the Betty Page pic for my avatar my location read "Bound, in His thoughts". With my blue nail polish av I've had the "Wriggleyville" location... But, a few minutes back I noticed the location changed on me to the "bound" one somehow. I had to go change it back to my "new" one.

did ya ever see that "twilight zone" episode (the new version in the '80's) with the guys who built the minutes???? there was a whole crew of little dudes who ran ahead of reality building everything around us so as we "arrived" at the next minute in the day, it'd all be there for us. every once in a while, they'd forget to place our keys on the counter or a sock in the dryer, etc. that's how these things wind up missing for brief moments... they forget to put them there when building one "minute" and then remember to put them there the next.

that's what happened to your location tag. i'm convinced of it.

... oh god... i just read this post and i sound like some sort o' "trekkie" spaz.

yup: good thing you said it on an internet discussion forum dedicated to erotica that has literally hundreds of users at any given moment. your secret will remain safe! :D

Did you by chance change something else on the edit profile page?

I have my browser set to only refresh a page when I request it to, and often get old information intead of the current information on pages like the edit profile page. Every sooften I forget to refreshthe page before making changes so it submits the OLD information in fields I didn't change long with the new information I intended to submit.

I'm interested in the same, thing....

and also about the titles under the name. Something you get with more posts, or am I just missing something somewhere?

Actually, no I hadn't changed anything lately.

Yes. With the more posts you make you will see your "title" change. (From Virgin to Experienced to Really (or Very, I forget now) Experienced and so on. After you hit 1,000 posts you can make the title what you want. :)
