Silly newbie question

How can I get the HTML markup turned on for my sig? It is set to off, with no option to turn it on.

When I view your sig (I have them turned off, but can check profiles), everything looks fine and normal to me. No extra mark-up.

HTML is disabled in posts and signatures at this site and will NOT be turned back on.

At one time HTML was allowed in signatures here, but several malicious signatures spoiled it for everyone so the site administrators have completely disabled HTML.

I was wondering about that, too.
Thank you for the answer - that option should be removed. You must have a few of that particular qn.
