La Lucha jazz

Sienna, recently saw this group, a jazz trio plus singer, in a small concert venue. One of their fortes is to take an old standard or pop song and rearrange it into a jazz venue. As in this rework of the Jackson 5's "Never Can Say Goodbye". It was a delightful evening of jazz. :)

I am a confessed jazz lover investor and I was given a CD of their music :)
It was a "trial album" whatever that is supposed to mean :) However, La Lucha
come from Tampa Bay in Florida and they are brilliant. They master in Latin
Jazz and Modern Jazz. They are basically a trio consisting of drums, piano and
bass. Vocals are usually guests :) In the case of Never Can Say Goodbye the
vocalist is Jun.
