Yes, Sienna, nice to see you back on the thread with your selections . . :rose:

A little more lap steel electric guitar? :)
This instrument originating from Nashville was created for the blues I think. Please share your comments...
and thank you investor for sharing the Anne McCue studio recording

Thank you for sharing. The one I liked, in fact fell in love with was Piano Dust. My kind of music and it inspired me to go play my Yamaha keyboard to try to follow with something of my own like Piano Dust. I listened several times and the more I listened the more it became "a musical worm" in my head :) I found another by the artist Oohyo (우효) called Honey Tea. Please enjoy :)

Honey Tea - Oohyo

Playing jazz on the Yamaha for fun and a relaxing past time I have found interesting over the years. I usually do my own versions of original songs. Here is one man and his trio that does inspire me
:)

Rush Hour/Road Rage - George Duke
================================================
Lounge Music

Run For Cover - George Duke Trio ft. David Sanborn

Last Train Home - Pat Metheny Group

I have listened to all of Oohyo's stuff (well, whatever is on Spotify) - it's inconsistent to be honest.

Lounge Music

Chameleon - Herbie Hancock arrangement (full version)

Spain - Chick Corea arrangement (full version)

Somewhere Over The Rainbow - Keith Jarrett

If you are like me, then you can't help being captivated by Pat Metheny's atmospheric musical arrangements :)
Are You Going With Me? - Pat Metheny Group

Song For My Father - Horace Silver Quintet

Maputo - David Sanborn & Bob James arrangement

Unconditional Love x2 - Geri Allen, Jeff Watts, Kenny Davis, Esperanza Spalding, Terri Lyne Carrington
Geri Allen 1957 - 2017

You can take the girl from the jazz but not the jazz from the girl :) There is a riddle for you. I have this thing deep inside of me that allows certain music to, if you like, turn me on. The previous post and Pat Metheny's Are You Going With Me is one of my favourites, almost better than a cold glass of fresh orange juice on a hot summers day :) To me some music can be "orgasmic." Smooth jazz is good for making love to ;) Imagine if you will.
I grew up with jazz. My Mum would be playing it most of time and so piano lessons soon entered my life when I was six years old and then clarinet when I was older.
Today listening to Oohyo's music provided by AFM was a pleasure. My girls don't have the same tastes in music that I have and I was able to absorb Piano Dust without them being around :) Sometimes kids are fun when they are not around :D ... Oohyo, real name Woo Hyo-eun is from South Korea and has been in the music industry since 2014.

Tennis - Oohyo (우효)

Something a little different . . . the Spoon Lady:

Sienna, I actually saw her perform on a street corner in Nashville a couple years ago. :D
Hi investor :) I watched the other videos by Spoon Lady and tried it out. However I tried it and the spoons went flying across my kitchen during several attempts and I gave up. I'll stay with my Yamaha and clarinet thank you :) The Spoon Lady certainly does have an awesome technique... amazing and thank you for sharing :)
