Please note*

Today, my daughter and I visited XenTheophilvs_III (aka Shen) in person.

It was made seriously clear to him that he should not continue his "witch hunt" tactics or offend members of Literotica forums. He is a new member as most people know by now and he also made possibly unjustified complaints against other members.

His intentions on here are to make friends with other users of like mind. It is purely his "fantasy" as a writer of horror and his culture. At present he has not met anyone on here who believes in the same fantasies as he does.

In person, Shen is a reasonable person with responsibilities within his ordinary working life. He is respected highly within his cultural circles and with the local authority where he lives. He consoles those youth of his culture who have been beaten up, threatened and discriminated against by society. Also, let us consider his activity with the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.

Here is a reminder of that foundation, please read and watch, especially the video which makes things clear.

Sophie Lancaster Foundation

My own teenage daughter, Claire is "a mosher" regarding her fashion sense and beliefs. She has chosen this way for her lifestyle, and I have to be sympathetic towards these kinds of people.

I created this thread with Shen in mind when he joined Literotica. It is his thread until he creates his own. At present, Shen will not give me any positive replies as to whether he will continue to use it or remain an active member of Literotica. This we shall have to see, and it is his choice.

Thank you :)

The conflict of good against evil is a theme in the most popular forms of fantasy, such as high fantasy; normally, evil characters erupt from their lands to invade and disrupt the good characters' lands. J. R. R. Tolkien delved into the nature of good and evil in The Lord of the Rings, but many of his imitators use the conflict as a plot device and often do not distinguish the sides by their actual behavior. In some works, mostly notably in sword and sorcery, evil is not opposed by the unambiguously good but by the morally unreliable.
Wikipedia.

My fantasy characters are those of nature. Good vs. Evil and supernatural in essence. They are immortals that exist beside mortals. They have the powers of nature to use against themselves and simple mortals. They are Dark Lords who have their supporting creatures to assist them. Their aim is to control the universe itself.

My personal character is XenTheophilvs_III, Dark Lord of the Sixth Penta. Those that came before my character were XenTheophilvs I and II destroyed by Amerxes and his evil forces and creatures.

To those out there my character is one of good. A guardian angel. At the same time my nature is one that requires mortal souls and flesh. My character is one that you would call a boogeyman. The curse of Amerxes on my characters kind. Milleniums ago they were like human forms. Today that human form is used to hide the real Dark Lord Xen until feeding time approaches. The boogeyman escapes. An innocent body and soul is captured. Devoured. Then time will pass again seeking out the Dark Lord Amerxes and his evil creatures.

My character requires human souls (fictional players) to become my creatures rewarded with powers. Then our game begins. We write our battles and conflicts against Amerxes to regain the underworld from his evil grip.

Join me and become one of my creatures.

The Story Begins...
AD 1831

Shen

XenTheophilvs_III appeared that night from nowhere. He was like a shadow out the mist, carrying his haversack on his shoulder and a cane, topped with a crystal skull head. His golden shoulder length hair turned darker every minute that passed has he walked along the country road. He could sense her presence close by. The woman who had guided him to Earth.

He was not here for her. His mission was to seek out Amerxes, his enemy force, the Dark Lord of Chaos, who was amongst the mortal souls on Earth, destroying things in his path using the evil creatures he had created by taking their souls in exchange for powers.

She, the one that he came to guard, had a place he could call his own. Soon that place was insight. A castle high up on a mountain, empty and barren. Little did she know that he was going to be its latest tenant. And below the mountain was the town. He thought for a moment and looked around the small town, knowing that it was going to be his source of food when the curse came. Already he could feel that curse upon him. He could sense the essence of one of its female citizens, like a piece of meat being roasted on a spit.

After climbing the steep winding road it had become almost dawn when he reached the castle. It was empty and neglected apart from an area suited up as living quarters, where ‘she’, the one whose soul had attracted him there lived just once a year. The castle was named Abitharia, now his home and it appeared to be the home of yet another tenant.

“Who are you?” the voice echoed from behind him. “Who gave you permission to be here?” The voice was slow in its pronouncement of each word as if struggling to speak. From out of the shadows of a tall drape of curtain stepped a man. Short, with a body tormented by a physical affliction. XenTheophilvs looked at him. The man came to him and pointed. “Why are you here?” he asked again before stepping back, only to realise that the man before him was not like him. He could sense what he could only describe as a ‘demonic’ presence.

“You must be Ratus?” XenTheophilvs stared back dropping his haversack onto the ground. “You are the one who will serve me I trust?” Ratus looked back and smiled. His rotting teeth exposed. XenTheophilvs stamped his cane onto the hard floor. “You may call me Shen. My name. Easier to say. Do you hear me?” Shen shouted his last few words, commandingly. Ratus seemed to enjoy being commanded to by such a person as Shen.

“You!” Shen pointed his finger at Ratus. “You are the one that plagues my lady. I will be watching you.”

“Your lady?” Ratus kept his smirk. “Not I surely Sir? I admire her from a distance.”

“Stop!” Shen held up his hand and stamped down his cane once more to stop Ratus from speaking further. “My lady will remain nameless from this moment on. I will be the one you will admire and serve. We have work to do. You must follow every order I give you. And I may even consider giving you powers.”

“Powers? What powers Sir?”

“Already you ask too many questions!” Shen shouted, angry and annoyed at what Thermopilvs had sent him, or atleast found him amongst the human life forms. Thermopilvs was Shen’s comrade from the Second Penta. A passing spirit that sought out his path to where Amerxes was. The spirit that discovered ‘she’, now the nameless one who needed guidance.

“I will fetch Sir some wine?” Ratus suggested.

“I need no wine Ratus. You know exactly what I am already. I have no need for wine.” Shen thought for a moment. What he had said was not exactly true. There was the curse. The need for human flesh whenever the time came. He hated it. The curse made him evil and harmful to innocent humans and once again the scent from a distance in the town below the mountain tormented him.

Shen ordered Ratus to empty the contents of his haversack onto the table. Several scrolls, a map and a crystal dagger. “Sign this if you wish to serve me.” Shen ordered, opening up one of the scrolls. The language of the writing was not of this world. Ratus pretended he did not understand, despite his education when he was younger to atleast read, write and know every part of the surrounding area for hundreds of kilometres. Shen could read his mind. It was no use pretending. He took Ratus by the hand and using the dagger cut his finger, making the blood drip upon the scroll. “That will do.”

Ratus could feel his body trembling uncontrollably. Shen took no notice and continued with his business of unfolding the map and reading it. “You’ll be fine soon Ratus. Let your soul go. Stop fighting it.” Suddenly Ratus hit the floor in a seizure which lasted for minutes. Then it was over. What remained on the ground was the body of a younger man. Handsome, strong and tall with blonde hair and blue sparkling eyes. The person he would have been if his affliction had not been caused by a natural mishap.

“There.” Shen turned to help his newly formed friend from the floor. “You look good. Strong and healthy. Young too. You will never age. You like me are immortal now. You have no soul.” Shen lifted the scroll in his hand. “You now belong to me. Dark Lord of the Sixth Penta. If I am destroyed, then you too will be destroyed.”

Ratus took very little notice of Shen’s words. Not that it mattered. How can one be immortal and yet be destroyed? All that Ratus was interested in was his new body and even mind which felt refreshed and fast in thought. One instant thought he had was, was there really any need to follow his new master? That shall remain to be seen.

Suddenly, Shen leaned against the table as if in agony. “Sir, are you alright?” Ratus asked. Shen turned to face him. His eyes had turned white with tiny pupils piercing at his new servant. His skin turned grey with numerous dominant blue veins with his hair now receding into nothing. He opened his mouth to speak and his teeth were like spikes of silver.

“I must find my victim. The curse is upon me until I find her. The woman in the town awaits.”

“Who Sir? Which woman?”

“The one I must devour!!”

Ratus watched has his master transformed. A demonic creature no longer resembling a human form. A boogeyman had replaced Shen’s whole body and slowly his mind has he headed to the door and then gates of the castle. Ratus could only watch has his master leaped from the edge of the mountain. Wings had unfolded like dark leather, networked with vein like filaments as the demon drifted down towards the town.

Ratus realised his master was out for his feed. Something deep inside told him. He also noticed that the arousal of what was happening had given him something he had never had before. His manhood was hard and stiff. Longer in length and throbbing with anticipation. His mind had become sexually stimulated by the thoughts of what would happen to the female victim his master had gone hunting for.

Soon Shen had returned. He dragged the half naked body of his victim behind him, already half dead. Probably still suffering her tormenting injuries. It was hard to say. Ratus kept his distance and watched his master tear apart her flesh with two open jaws. Side to side and top to bottom. Blood spilling and squirting in all directions. Even the remnants of her clothing were devoured. Yet not the bones or hair.

The young Ratus watched on, stroking himself. Throughout the whole horror of devourment he stroked himself faster and faster until he ejaculated. Not cum. His ejaculate was fire. A streak of blue flame from his penis until his orgasm subsided as quickly as it came. And Shen crouched upon his knees amidst the blood hair and bones of his victim. Returning slowly back to his human likeness once more until the curse is upon him again sometime soon. Days or maybe weeks.

Hours pass and Ratus was made to clean up the bones hair and blood whilst his master bathed and found clean clothing. Ratus with his new found health and strength found digging a hole in the castle vaults easy. The first of many it may seem.

“What happens to the victim’s soul Sir?” Ratus asked later. His master sat at the table reading the map.

“It goes to Amerxes. One of the many ways he collects souls for making his creatures. You don’t need to know anymore Ratus. You just obey my orders.”

“Does that include my soul too Sir?”

“No. You are mine.” Shen replied, taking a pen and piece of paper and writing down a location from the map. “You must find this woman. Bring her to me. She is not a victim.” Ratus takes the slip of paper and reads it before folding. “The woman will bring a book with her by accident. Her diary. She will visit against her will and leave her purse containing the diary.”

“And what is in the diary Sir?” Ratus asked. Shen pointed to four numbers on the wall. They appeared to have been scraped into the cement many hundreds of years ago.

“The other numbers in the code. She has them unknowingly. I will find them when I have the diary.”

Shen :)

Congratulations on your opening. Great story and I am tempted to write a part with you. Is ratman2 in this also? :)

Let me try to figure out a little more of what is going on in the story and I may put something together. I found that tune you were looking for on You Tube by the way.

Ratus

Ratus knew where he had to go. It was familiar territory to him in the north and he vaguely remembered the person he was sent to visit, the Lady Nina Vladovich. She was a countess and Ratus had to convince her highness that a visit to Abitharia was essential, to meet with Shen, The Dark Lord of the Sixth Penta.

It did not take Ratus long to think of a means. His new powers had given him the ability of great intelligence, to which he began to use to his own advantage, one of which was to try to outwit his master. Something that seemed impossible yet probable if he could find anyone who was connected to Amerxes, The Dark Lord of Chaos. First, was a way of getting the Countess Vladovich to Abitharia.

On his way through one of the large towns, Ratus found a printer of scrolls and offered a large amount of money to have one made to look like it was an important invitation. Within a few hours the scroll was done and Ratus examined every detail carefully before payment was to be made.

“This Lord Shen?” the printer asked. “He isn’t a real Count is he? I know this is all false what you asked me to do.” Ratus stared back at him with a blank expression. His piercing blue eyes almost burning into the printer’s eyes. “I am going to ask for double the amount. This could be an act of treason or a conspiracy of some nature.” The printer was not sure within himself whether he should have asked. He could feel Ratus piercing him with that stare of his. Ratus himself realised the more he stared into the man’s eyes the more it became painful to the man. Soon the man could not move; his eyes locked with Ratus, captured by pain and disability throughout his body. Suddenly, the man gasped and his skin turned dark green and scaly. There was no longer human life within his body. The man had developed gills on each side of his neck and began to choke. Unable to breathe without water, he dropped to his knees before Ratus and stooped. He was dead. Every human soul he took by death, unknowingly went to Amerxes whilst his master was under his curse.

Ratus was proud of his newly discovered power, the ability to turn mere mortal human beings into fishlike creatures that suffocated to death in the air. This added to his youthfulness and strength, and, the regrettable ability to shoot only fire during ejaculation. If he wanted sex with another human, a woman, he would kill her, burning her insides to cinders. Why would he have such evil powers given to him by one of the ‘good’ Dark Lords? Ratus decided there and then, that the whole of nature was evil, especially those of the supernatural. This whole thing was about ‘them’ and mere mortals meant nothing to them at all. They were just souls to be taken to make more demonic beasts of the underworld.

Ratus needed new respectable clothing and a bath. Having no money he realised he could get anything he desired during his journey northwards. After two days he was almost at his destination, riding a fine white mare and a new expensive suit of clothes fit for any lord. His task was half over, and in total he had strangled eight men, stabbed six others as well as one suffocation. And, a prostitute was one of his victims too, set on fire from within. A total of sixteen in all murders now on his hands, which gave him great pleasure with dealing out. He himself felt like one of the Dark Lords. However, he was not.

The great manor was set in the mountainous pine forests. It had been the residence of the Vladovich family for centuries. Now there was only one daughter left, unmarried and childless to carry the royal title. Nina was technically the 327th countess to an ancient and forgotten nation and the last. She had no sons to carry on the royal line directly. No daughters to marry princes or counts of other royal families. She was desperately seeking someone she herself who she could marry now, before it was too late to have atleast one child. Her problem was; she was not the most desirable of women.

Ratus introduced himself in a noble way and was quickly accepted as an envoy from the Theophilvs dynasty. Lady Nina knew nothing about such a strange family. “Who can this Lord Xen be?” she asked Ratus. She was finding it hard to believe in such an invitation.

“Shen my Lady. He prefers to be called that because of his strange name. They are a reclusive family and have been for many hundreds of years.”

“I hope they are not interbred. God preserve us all. We have seen the likes of those.”

“No. The family have been living in the far east for quite some time. Shen has returned to their family home at Castle Abitharia to the south of here. Atleast a days coach ride away my Lady.”

“Tell me, is he handsome?” Lady Nina asked. “Will he be worth my time to visit?”

“I Assure you my Lady he is quite expecting you.” Ratus replied with his convincing smile. For Lady Nina, that was convincing enough. A Count with a young handsome envoy had to be just as handsome himself and worth a visit.

Thermopilvs not to be confused by Theophilvs.

Thermopilvs was best described as cherubim. A spiritual messenger that could take no souls. It is one of a myriad spirits that dwell within the solid universe and have a mind of their own. They chose who they served by their own vocation. They are indestructible and can take on any natural form they desire. Those confused and lost spirits became best described as ghosts, unable to free themselves from living souls they have become attached to, or a place they cannot leave. Thermopilvs had been a messenger for Shen since the beginning of his time. Going ahead in search of human helpers and influencing them to be where they were needed. Becoming a messenger and free gave Thermopilvs supernatural powers to even out natures delicate balance. What one may describe as anti matter and matter in the known universe.

Thermopilvs found the Castle Abitharia inhabited by the beggar Ratus. His hideout whenever the owner was not there. Thinking that Ratus would be an ideal candidate, Thermopilvs influenced Ratus to become pliant to Shen’s arrival by reducing his reluctance to help anyone but himself. And now Ratus was turning against his master the Dark Lord of the Sixth Penta. It was essential that Lady Nina resist Ratus, not accept his invitation.

Lady Nina was required to be abducted on her regular visit to her friends at Castle Fiederstadt due in a few days time. There the diary would be upon her person, containing her ‘system’ for playing roulette, a habit she had developed over the past years. And Ratus resisted Shen’s mind control, becoming more powerful himself in mind. Ratus could feel his master’s mind and chose to ignore it.

Shen looked out of the tall window facing northwards. He stamped his cane three times onto the floor. “Thermopilvs be with me!” he commanded. Within seconds a flaming form appeared beside him shaped like a winged angel. Hence, the name Thermopilvs, cherubim of fire, yet no heat emanated from the flames. The fiery spirit remained silent, unable to speak whilst in its natural state. It could sense everything it needed to.

“That fool Ratus is out of control.” Shen explained. The cherubim remained unmoved, apart from its rising flames. “You must do something to stop him from blocking me. He is stronger than I anticipated. He is resisting me. Most likely plotting against me. I feel the deaths he has already caused. Fuelling Amerxes with each of those murdered souls. And I need those numbers.”

Shen turned and walked to the wall with the carved numbers; 5 1 7 2. All that was needed was three more numbers to complete the code to unlock Amerxes curse. Lady Nina had them. “It is such a pity that you Thermopilvs could not provide me with those numbers.” The form remained silent and unmoved. Just a steady flow of flames rising and dissipating. “What can be done to Ratus to bring him back with that diary without taking more mortal lives?” Shen turned and Thermopilvs had gone.

Back at the Vladovich Manor, preparations were being made for the journey south. Lady Nina had cancelled her plans to visit friends at Castle Fiederstadt and Ratus was feeling proud to be a guest of honour as his master’s envoy. He had his eyes on one of Lady Nina’s beautiful maids, Mercine. He flirted with her and slowly she was dangerously warming to his charms. Another victim in his evil thoughts. Only Mercine was much younger than the prostitute he had cinderised mercilessly.

In the maid’s room, Mercine watched out of the window towards the pine forests. She enjoyed the fresh air and that exotic intoxicating scent of pine wood. To her surprise a robin landed on the window sill. Normally the robins would not be seen close to humans, atleast not that close. She touched it gently and it seemed to enjoy her touches until it pecked her hard on the finger drawing blood before flying away.

Mercine was shocked and she could feel deep fear within her. She sat in one of the chairs to steady herself and then she heard a voice within her head. It was real. Not an illusion. “Mercine...” the tiny voice repeated several times until it sounded like her own. “Mercine. Do not be afraid. I will not harm you. I only need your body. I cannot hurt you while I share. Relax Mercine. Let me become you. You must rest while I use you. Sleep Mercine. Sleep in peace.” She felt a wave of relaxation throughout her body and the voice. Her own inner voice gently put her at peace.

Thermopilvs had entered her body without removing her soul. She was still alive and well and mortal. The only thing different was that her mind and body was now under the cherubim’s control. Dangerously vulnerable for Mercine if the cherub was to allow her to be harmed. The only assurance was; if Mercine should die, then her soul would be free and free to become whatever spirit she desired to be. Perhaps cherubim like Thermopilvs?
Thermopilvs began to absorb Mercine’s whole life history, including the recent affair with her mistress, Lady Nina. It seemed that both enjoyed a secret lesbian relationship that had replaced Lady Nina’s desires for the right man. Mercine could neither read nor write. And now with Thermopilvs possessing her, these things could be overcome.

Mercine sat at the desk and scribbled a note. The words written clear and fast in a matter of seconds. She allowed time for the ink to dry and hastily sought out her mistress who was still in the process of packing trunks for her journey with other maids help.

“My Lady, may I have your attention?” Mercine asked. Lady Nina did not want to be bothered. Mercine put the note into the hand of her mistress. “Please read this, I think they are instructions sent with the envoy Ratus.”

Lady Nina read the note. “How did you get this?” the mistress asked. She was angry at the words written on the note. Indeed they were instructions. Ones that she had not wished to believe. Mercine explained that she had secretly taken the note from beside Ratus while he slept. “I am being tricked by some fool who thinks I will go to him. An imposter. I knew that name of his was false. I should have checked.”

Ratus was sent for to explain the note to Lady Nina. He was surprised himself and could not think of a reason for the note to exist. “My lady. Please I know nothing of this. I assure you it was not in my possession. This is a trick.”

“I don’t think so.” The mistress replied angrily. “You must leave immediately. I want nothing to do with your master or his plans. He is just after my riches, a mere imposter. Just tell him his plan was foiled and I shall be reporting this to the burger master immediately.”

“My lady. You cannot do this. It is important that you go to him.” Ratus replied.

“Really? Is there some desperate reason why?” Lady Nina asked. Ratus was about to capture her stare and abandoned the thought quickly. Killing her would not look right under the circumstances. He turned away and left her chambers. Outside the beautiful Mercine was waiting for him.

“Ratus, I wish you to listen to me.” Mercine instructed. “I know who you are.”

“Rubbish! You know nothing about me.”

“Shen, Dark Lord of the Sixth Penta is your master. Is that enough?” She replied. Ratus looked at her with disbelief. How could this mortal woman know of him? Who was she? “You can help me Ratus complete your task. You have disobeyed your master and he is not pleased.”

“I want to be rid of him. I was planning not to return with Lady Nina. I would have completed my task and had done with it. I want to be free. I can do it. Already I can block out his instructions which I don’t need to hear in my head.”

“You belong to him Ratus. He has your soul. Your intentions would have grave consequences upon yourself. If Amerxes destroys your master, you too will be destroyed. Or did you not want to hear that?”

“It’s impossible. I can give my soul to Amerxes. I can do a deal with him instead. It can be arranged. I am not a fool you know. I have a great mind and power now. I can do anything I want. Besides, who are you anyhow? You have not yet explained.”

Mercine smiled. “You do not need to know who I am Ratus. Are you willing to help me?”

“I would rather be willing to fuck you and...”

“I know what would happen if you did. Ratus, you really have no choice but to help me and remain faithful to your master. You cannot escape no matter what.”
Ratus became curious. Still trying to fathom out what powers and connections Mercine had with Shen. She took his hand and he followed her to one of the chambers. On a table was a chest made of solid brass. “You must open it.” Mercine instructed. “What the master needs is inside.” Ratus ran his hand over the delicate casting of the pattern upon its lid. “It contains the diary, locked safely inside. The numbers, remember?”

“Wait. He wanted Lady Nina and her diary.”

“The master was trying to tell you how to get both on your journey here. You did not listen. That does not matter anymore Ratus. Your strength is needed to open the chest.”

“How? If you have powers then you do it.”

“No. I have no powers to use. I can only help you by showing you what the master requires.” Mercine explained. Thermopilvs within Mercine could sense danger getting closer. It was a seraphim closing in fast. One of the evil spirits of the underworld. “Quickly! We don’t have much time.”

“Why are you looking so scared all of a sudden?” Ratus asked. Mercine urged him on to open the chest. Ratus found it strange that Mercine became so nervous. Then he could sense something getting closer. Ratus could hear the sound of a creature of some kind that growled in the distance, getting closer. “What is it?” he asked. “What is that thing I can hear?”

“Open the chest now! If it comes you will regret it. You will not be able to fight it. It will devour your flesh and take away your body for eternity. I will explain later. Just open the chest Ratus now!”

The sound of the creature in the distance was enough to make Ratus do something. He placed his hands upon the lid of the chest and concentrated hard. He thought about lifting the lid and has he did so the lid began to release. He grabbed it and threw it open. The diary was there amongst other valuables and jewellery. He took the diary and handed it to Mercine. “I need your shirt and trousers, take them off. Your boots too.” She demanded.

“What?” He replied. Mercine began to remove her clothing as quickly as possible, ripping apart material where necessary. Ratus found it both arousing and fearsome, removing his garments requested by the beauty before him. Once naked she began to dress in his shirt, trousers and the boots slowly. Hard to put on. Ratus was left in britches when the creature outside entered the manor. “It’s here, inside the house.” He hid himself behind a cabinet scurrying from danger. The thought of being torn apart into pieces and each piece of his body being alive was not a welcome thought in his mind. A severed hand would crawl blindly forever. His head would stare motionless until the end of time. Maybe having such immortality was not that good after all.

Mercine was now dressed to fight. Already the seraph was killing its victims inside the manor. She grabbed a sword from one of the ancient shields on the wall in preparation. Like her own kind (Thermopilvs), she could not take its spirit and destroy it. The only thing was to hurt it and scare it away. That is, if it did not get her first, no doubt killing Mercine and freezing her soul to become Seraphim at the next nightfall.

The beast wandered around the manor on its hind legs. Once it found a victim it would leap onto them cutting into their jugular veins with hits wolvine jaws and eating their throats. This seraph had its methods. It was intelligent and free. Thermopilvs within Mercine’s body felt it. It belonged to itself knowing that its victim’s souls remained in their bodies until the next sunset when they too would transform into seraphim. If Ratus was caught his fate was not worth thing about. The seraph would quickly sense his immortality and take evil pleasure from tearing him apart.

Eventually it killed everyone it could find in the manor, including Lady Nina. This was not just a chance visit by the seraph. It could smell the soulless one; Ratus. It sought him out from afar as it flew high above the ground out of sight on its dragon like wings. And then Thermopilvs could hear it getting closer before any other. They moved at great speed once airborne, following their astute senses, homing in for the killing spree in mind.
Mercine stood behind the locked chamber door. She could hear it breathing and snarling. She was ready with her sword, waiting for the beast to break in. “You protect an immortal one.” It said. The words spoken in a mix of clarity and a distinctive slur. “Open up the door and I will spare your life mortal child.” Mercine realised at that point that the seraph had not detected the presence of Thermopilvs within her. “I am here for the immortal one. He works for the Dark Lords I hate.”

“Why do you hate the Dark Lords, tell me?”

“They caused my death. Especially Amerxes. He now uses us to...”

“To what? Keep talking.”

“To destroy the Earth and create the Evil Hordes. There is a pact Amerxes has made with Gargath. Soon all of the wandering seraphim and eventually the cherubim will join him. The universe will belong to Amerxes and only him. He will become the Master of the Universe and all nature. The day of days is almost upon us.”

Thermopilvs began to think hard. The day of days was when the universe itself and all of nature would be destroyed forever. Not even Amerxes himself would survive such an event. It was the time when the Dark Lord with the most power of all met the ultimate Creator and all time would stand still. It was something the Dark Lords challenged in order to control the universe and even Thermopilvs believed it would be impossible. The one named the Creator was untouchable, an entity that had been around for eternity and had the ultimate power to end eternity if necessary. It would be as if nothing had ever existed.

“If you hate the Dark Lords so much, why do you kill and make more of your kind for him?” She asked.

“Because I am making my own hordes of seraphim to fight against Gargath and Amerxes. I have found a way.”

“What name do you call yourself seraph? I need to know.”

“A mere mortal child like you does not need to know. You can do nothing about our world. You live and die just to become a spirit, nothing more. Let me in to get the immortal one. You have no reasons to protect him.”

Thermopilvs within Mercine was not foolish to fall for such tricks. No seraph kept their promises. They were evil no matter who or what they belonged to. Mercine’s life was in danger whilst her soul slept. Thermopilvs borrowed her innocent body and mind. Brandishing the sword to fight was a foolish idea. She was too weak to survive the outcome. This required wits alone and nothing else.

“Then so be it child. I am coming in.”

“No! Wait!” Mercine quickly replied. It was time for Thermopilvs to take a risk within nature itself, of which the consequences would be unknown, yet worth a try against the seraph. Mercine stepped away from the door and closed her eyes tightly. Thermopilvs within her began to work on the risk. Unbalancing nature by focusing upon the creature behind the door. Suddenly the seraph felt a burning sensation within. The risk was beginning to work and Thermopilvs had to keep it under careful control or the whole thing would go disastrously wrong. The seraph began to heat up faster and faster. It could not resist the energy within itself as each particle of its body began to arrange themselves into heavier masses. The carved wooden decors including the door itself in the close proximity of the beast seem to disintegrate and hit the creature. What Thermopilvs was doing was creating a nuclear pile centred on the seraph itself, melting it into a mass of heavy molten metal only a fraction of its original size. Thermopilvs stopped the processes quickly before Mercine’s body was damaged. Opening her eyes, Thermopilvs could see the consequences of the risk. Yet it was impossible to end the process completely. High energy particles of matter were continually escaping from the molten mass which was all that remained of the seraph. It was time to leave quickly.

Mercine

Ratus and Mercine found the manor stables and picked two of the best horses, saddled them up, and hastily rode away southwards back to Castle Abitharia. Ratus could not keep his eyes of Mercine. She was not the person he had first met when he arrived at the manor. Not only had she become bolder in nature, but also more beautiful. Her petite body beneath the shirt and trousers became more defined, especially her firm young breasts and long dark hair flowing in the breeze as they rode together.

“I can’t say you saved my life back there,” Ratus began to explain. “I don’t really have one do I?”

“Oh you do have life. A very very long life, if you remain out of danger. You’re immortal, remember? Your soul belongs to Shen and he is your master. He gave you youth and energy for his use. You are his servant for as long as he exists.”

“Then explain something to me. Who are you Mercine? What did you do back there at the manor?”

“It is too early to explain that in detail Ratus. Let’s just say I saved you from an eternity of painful misery. You would have been useless to the master. He would never have been able to help you. Had you been devoured by the seraph, your remains would have been digested alive and in pieces. The consequences are not worth thinking about.”

They had to move quickly. Thermopilvs was sending mind messages to Shen about the seraph and its hordes of renegades. By nightfall, others would follow including the new risen ones, increasing their numbers. Perhaps it may work in Shen’s favour if a deal could be made. It seems the renegade seraphim are building up resistance to Amerxes himself. However, there remained a mystery. Who was Gargath, a seraph that had somehow managed to strike a deal with Amerxes to create the so called ‘Evil Hordes’?

The war for universal supremacy had no doubt begun. Thermopilvs was wise enough to know there would be no winner in such a war. The day of days would surely come. Ratus was like an apprentice and intelligent he may now be; Thermopilvs could not stop feeling sorry for his naivety, no matter how evil he was capable of being. They continued to ride in haste before nightfall. They needed the safety of the Castle against an invasion of crazed seraphim.

“This body is getting weak.” Mercine said. “I am pushing it too far in this journey. I need food and water.”

“I can find you food in the next village not far away,” Ratus replied. “Anything you want.” He added with a grin. Mercine may have found his handsome smiles and grins charming, but Thermopilvs was unmoved by such things. Ratus pulled back on her horses reins to slow down their gallop. “You still have not told me who you are Mercine. I am intrigued. You say you are weak, yet you did that ‘magic’ on the creature back at the manor. What are you?”

“I am not exactly Mercine. I only control her body and mind while she sleeps within. Yet whilst I control her body I feel her weaknesses. I have to protect her while I am within her. I am a cherub. Angels to you as you know us.”

“Guardian angels, like in the legends?”

“We are not legends Ratus. We do exist.” Mercine began to feel faint, and Thermopilvs could do nothing about it but leave her body as a last resort if all else fails. Thermopilvs needed her to have strength to continue. Like a battery, she was dying if food and rest was not at hand. And, there was also the unknown dose of radiation she may have taken back at the manor. The risk may have been lethal to such a mortal. “You must help me Ratus. We will not make the castle in time.” Mercine slipped from the saddle onto the ground. Ratus dismounted and went to her aid.

“Don’t die on me. I need you and whoever you are inside. I don’t know what to do. If those creatures come and I am captured, I can’t live a life like that. I admit I am a fool and I am sorry for all the selfish deeds I have committed.”

“Ratus, listen to me carefully. Take me to the nearest village, Bolgrad. There you will find a wise man called Calvs. He will know what to do. He is one of my kind who hides in the body of an old man. I will try to keep Mercine alive while I am within her. Is that understood? Tell him about the invasion at nightfall. He will know what to do.”

Update:

Hi everyone, if at all XenTheophillus does have friends, I have been asked to close this thread. "Shen", or Xen will no longer participate with Literotica because he feels it does not suit his culture.

The story we were collaborating in will no longer continue.

For those interested, his accident at work before Christmas (ankle injury) is now well on the mend and he has returned to work hoping to claim compensation.

He thanks everyone, including myself, for their support on here when he joined, which he claims was rare, especially from other UK members.

Thank you :)
