I really hope it was the turtle soup...
But, if that's the flu virus I have...god help everyone unable to take a flu shot...I have been a miserable fucker for the last 24 hrs.
I just now have been able to sit up for any length of time.

So, if you are able to take the shot and haven't yet, call your doctor and GET IT!!!!!!

I was down with a bad bout of the "real" flu virus for 2 weeks before and while Christmas... god did i feel miserable then. Every muscle in my body hurt and I felt like I was on my deathbed.

I can only recommend peppermint tea and lots of vitamin C... *hands you a teddybear for comfort*

I did both flu and pneumonia shot this year. So far, I have been fairly healthy for a change! One minor cold around the holidays. I love it! I don't know if the shots helped, I'm just happy I'm avoiding the creeping crud that everyone else around me seems to have.
