Feel like my chats are not getting through

Ok....so...if you are in chat and idle...it can do something we call a ghost log out. You can see things and it the chat still scrolls and you can still type but people will not see your chats. It's basically like you walked out the door to have a smoke and you are trying to have a conversation with someone inside but they can't hear you. The chat does not buffer well so some of the time you get the ghost boot....and sometimes you will get kicked out. You did not do anything wrong its just the chat being finicky.
The best way to see if you are ghost booted is PM Isedora and type the word help. If she responds you are not...if she does not log out and log back in. Or you can check to see if the number on the bottom is changing. If it is not chances are you are ghost booted. Orrrrr...you can pm a friend if you know someone in the chat and ask if they can see your message.
I find the biggest indicator for me..if you see the room banner pop up repeatedly you have been ghost booted.
And before anyone else suggests we fix it....we are just chat mods...we cannot fix it we do not have access to the codeing...we have told the site owners and honestly we are tired of screaming into the void. It is just a fact of life with Lit...you use the chat you need to put up with things like this.
