currently when you ignore someone they can still see all your posts but you "ignore" theirs unless you click on the show ignore usually at the bottom of the thread page. they can still see your posts and comment, you just can't see it unless you choose to. blocking would remove their access from both viewing and commenting on your posts. blocking imo would be the much more helpful and deterring option.
