As the only one to vote "yes", let me just clarify that I simply mean that we shouldn't rule out every option out of principles that have no meaning to the "pirates". Nothing is ever so simple as you think.

Good perspective from a unheard side. Toxic waste dumping is as bad as piracy.

Huckleman2000...your post and claims rather startled me, so I went searching to either confirm or deny your accusations and it becomes difficult looking for non political articles addressing the issue of Euro toxic dumping near the Somali coast...there are a ton of blogs, mostly by the 'usual suspects', but that much smoke indicates something...

JBJ - You can neither disappoint nor distress me. That said, it opens all sorts of other possibilities: So surprise me......

It's rather interesting that the Sore Loser's Club has to eat some crow (recipes on the food channel network) over their disappointment that the hostage situation came to a successful ending, except for the ignorant fodder that the elders have fed to history........
