Evidence is mounting that Putin is offering the Ayatollah exile in Russia even as the Israeli's are busily hunting him down. The fact that Israel want's him dead is no secret to anyone.

There are arguments for both side of that coin. I'd advise Netanyahu to take the bastard out even though that would create a 'martyr.' And, of course, the whole 'martyr' thing would be one of the arguments not to take him out and let him fly to Russia.

If you want to explore the pro's and con's of both sides, jump right in.

If all you have is bile, spittle, and ad hominem..............fuck off.

Killing him won't do much except produce another to take his place. Iran's leadership is not singular. The only way to change course of the regime is for the people to overthrow them
Well, under that argument it doesn't matter at all whether he lives or dies.

The current Iranian regime is as a direct result of US interference; the sponsorship of a coup against a previous government that was seen as not sufficiently pro-America. That regime was hated and overthrown by the Islamics.

Now Trump imagines that provoking a war where only suckers and losers will die will bolster his own popularity ratings. Israel wants revenge on the government that supports Hamas. There is no risk of global nuclear war started by Iran, the idea is fatuous.

Iran has several Ayatollahs, the ruler is merely a more senior one than the others. Kill him (and thousands of ordinary Iranians) and you upset the rest of the population. Because starting this war automatically bolsters the popularity of the Ayatollah, he becomes more secure.

Iran has never invaded another country since the inception of the state; could that be said about the 'peace-loving' United States.

Iran as a holistic country has not invaded another country. Instead, it enlists.terrorist.proxies with money and weapons to attack from within. Your position is oversimplification.

I say kill his ass and the rest of the Iranian government and whatever is left of the military structure there.

KILL THEM ALL!

No. If Israel kills him, they own the problem. The US should take no part in regime change. It didn’t go well the last time the US did that.
Dead or not there is going to be a regime change in Iran, it's taking place as we speak.

ALL of the Ayatollah's are in mortal danger regardless of what group fills the power vacuum. Agitation by wannabe theocratic dictators is NOT going to be tolerated.

There's a lot of discontent with the regime, but the people won't overthrow it to appease Israel. To the contrary, war produces a rally-round-the-flag effect and bolsters whatever regime is in power.

Do you EVER think before you type?

No body cares what the ICC has to say anymore.

Oh, let's go with the one that Russia is offering to allow in in exile.
