In the bright world of the future, little flecks of skin will be taken when you pass through entry turnstiles into stores, offices, stations, etc. A quick analysis will tell the gov't AI who you are and what disease vectors you carry. If necessary, you will be secured and cured.

shouldn't testing and treatment of std be compulsory?

because

there is an STD epidemic in the USA

according to CDC

20,000,000 new sexually transmitted infections occur in the USA each year

which means at this rate of infection all most everyone in the USA

will be infected in less than 20 years.

yes thats right.

STDs also impose a substantial economic burden

CDC estimates STD cases cost the U.S. healthcare system nearly $16 billion each year.

Ok, but what does testing involve? Can all the tests you want be done with a non-invasive test? Are you getting police to arrest people, strap them to the table, and force them to get blood drawn and have genital swabs and exams against their will? Should people who don't have sex be subjected to your rules? At what ages do you suggest your state mandated assault to begin and end? Who pays for this?

How about people who have psychology issues that make examination traumatic? Or those with mental disabilities or dementia? Who enforces this? What penalties do you suggest? Where do you source medical professionals who are willing to assault patients on command?

...or you could just improve sex education in schools, and make confidential sexual healthcare more accessible.

Yes, and the results tattooed prominently in scarlet letters.
