Should it be in BDSM?

Hello everybody!

My first story in English have been approuved this morning. I submited it in Erotic Couplings and found it in BDSM.

I asked the editors to put it back in Erotic Couplings which they did.

A friend here on Lit. told me that my story would fit nicely in BDSM. So, now, I am asking myself if I was right by asking to put it back in Erotic Couplings.

I'd like to know your opinion. Please, feel also free to give me your comments on it.

didi.. Its back in Erotic Couplings where it belongs.. Definately not BDSM. It might have been dropped in nonsent, but I think you were right from the beginning and its where it belongs..

Don't worry, I had someone say one of my romance pieces belonged in BDSM. But BDSM doesn't own the copyright on everything

Thank you! My husband found this graphic and said it reminded me of him and emailed it to me. I said "That's how I feel when I look at you, that's why I talk so fast when I'm around you."

May I ask you if you and your husband are apart for work? And what was your feeling over my story? Should I write more in English? Please be honest as i was unsure of my English there...

Your story is one of those that doesn't fit neatly into one category. It's sort of BDSM-lite. I don't know if it would do that well in Erotic Couplings, as stories there about sex between people who love each other tend to get a lukewarm reception. I'm not sure it's long and romantic enough for Romance. I've had trouble placing some stories myself.

I would suggest finding a good editor for your English writings. There were enough problematic phrases to be distracting. It was a good story, but I have little doubt it lost something in translation.

Well, just remember Prolific doesn't always equal good

Finding a good editor you work well with can be a huge challenge. You can try the editor's forum, or pick your way through the volunteer editor's list. Either way, good luck to you!

I work at home, but he works at a local hotel. I think if you enjoy writing it, someone will enjoy reading it. Just keep doing what you're doing
