...go buy this sweet ride?

It also is advertised as having brand new motor, which means it is not broken-in.

BTW, the pedals are to start it. You get going then drop the clutch.

I rented an electric beach cruiser once. Electric bikes are generally frowned upon out here.

That is, until you're exhausted at the end of a long beach day, and looking at going up a steep hill with only one gear. Twist the handle, and you're home.
I featured such in an early LIT series, Bride Of Kong. . Biking up from Noyo Harbor to the Mendocino headlands meant ascending a GOP grade: Get Off'n Push. That was before electrics and Uber were common.

Looks like fun to me. I've been thinking about an ebike. Here if you have something with a gas motor you have to have a special licence and insurance just like a car. Ebike? Just buy it and go.

My first motorcycle was like that.

It looked good with shining chrome and enamel but the lack of compression and piston slap meant that anything over 1 in 8 was GOP.

This is a modern picture of a similar bike:

I think it was a circa 1964 Honda 55. I ascended a mile-high mountain pass. Just before the crest, the wee little piston blew. I pushed the bike on the slight downhill grade a dozen miles to a parts shop in the next town. Good thing the replacement was cheap.
