or it's too much? This site is about software, music links and misc.

you have to ask yourself how much will i make from this and how much will i lose from not making this chioce. funny you should ask i am currently studing for a class in quanatative approaches to decision making. it has a lot of neet ways of making decision by applying mathematical methods. but i would have to know more about your venture.

but this is a strange question to ask a bunch of people that want to get some

First Alex - this is a "Personals" forum - you will get more response's if you post it in the proper forum... read the sticky at the top.....

Secondly... you are not buying a "website".... you are buying a "subscription" to whatever they say you can download.... and keep in mind... there may be "copyright" issues with you downloading certain things....

There are "newsgroups" (like Giganews) that charge way less than 300 USD for the same thing....

and you may want to clarify what you are asking us to evaluate a little more..... we are rarely psychic here....

do your homework very thourghly first before you lay your cash out....


(unless of course they are offering you the domain name and all the subscribers for $ 300.00 - then that is something we could not evaluate by looking at the site)

After looking at it more deeply, it is clear that it is just a directory listing of primarily free programs and a collection of links...
Unless you are proficient at Web Developing and of course have no problem paying for the hosting (unless you run your own web server as I do), you will need to draw people to the site somehow and get advertisers to list their sites.

There are zillions of sites like this out there already. And many people never even use sites such as this anyway... it is much easier to Google the name of a program and go right to the software manufacturer's site. No real need for a middle man so to speak.

It really comes down to what your line of expertise is as well....

well I would not worry much about it.... he is hardly going to get much traffic from here and if you report it, the mod's will just pull it anyway....

hard to tell what is up anyway.... hosted in PA and owned and administered by someone in British Columbia.....
