Should a virgin write about explicit sex?

There's about a 98-2 chance that it's just me thinking about this, but a virgin writing a sex story just seems kind of...I don't know...hypocritical. It's seems like a virgin writing an erotic story (I know, erotic story =/= sex story, but you know what I mean) is somewhat like someone who doesn't know anything about cars giving a lecture on manifolds.

Yet, I've got a great idea for a story, but I'm a virgin, so I've backed myself into a bit of a moral corner.

I guess I'm just looking for some people to talk me out of this mindset.

(Bonus points if you can tell me what a manifold is.)

Write the story, if you have a great idea, share it with the readers, we were all virgins once but that didn't stop us from talkin about sex now did it. ;)
 
Well, thing of it is, it's already partially written, but I stopped just before I got to any sex. If you want it, PM me and I'll send it to you, I suppose.

What difference does you lack of sexual experience make?

I never been to Ireland, but I've written about it...I've never had a Lakota vision quest, but I've written it....

Usually a manifold is a single pipe, or other cavity that distributes a gas, or a liquid to a series of smaller pipes....

Example....a 24 unit office building will have a large gas line for heat coming out of the ground. There will be a pipe to which each individual gas meter is connected to. This is a manifold. On a car, air flows throw the carb into the intake manifold, which distributes the air/fuel mixture to each cylinder. Hope this helps.

Personally, if I don't, my stories are going to be very boring here. :rolleyes: It's fiction. You can always do research on the car.
