While scanning through the SW1 bands on my world band radio this evening, the scan stopped on a "Christian" station. I listened to the televangelist rant about zionist conspiracies and such for about 30 seconds or so, and checked the frequency to see where the scan had stopped.

The frequency was 6.660 MHz -- displayed on my radio as 666!

I love shortwave in the summer at the cottage down on the dock watching the stars.

When I lived in Oklahoma *shudder* they plagued the local television broadcasts with advertisements for those Christian gospel artists. The funniest thing happened late one evening...somehow the phone number to call and order had been altered...the last digits were 666.

hmm

no idea how that happened

no idea at all

nope
nope
nope
