Yes, I decided to get a new bike. Maybe a Ducati, not sure get. It's got to be sporty like my old red Honda.

Last time I rode, I wore jeans. They looked nice, but come to find out they do a zero % job of protecting the tender bits in a crash, which I found out first hand. With that, I need gear. But not just any gear. It must be stylish and sharp, or there is no point in doing it. Alpinestar has the cutest leather jacket\pants called the Vika. I like that name...Vika. Sounds like a super sexy secret agent  Of course, a super sexy secret agent needs an Italian helmet, so I am looking at AGV.

This place has a nice selection, so I am looking at them.

Hoping your tender bits are doing ok.. Were I shopping for a new bike, which alas, shall never be in my future again saving a Lotto win, I would seriously consider a Ducati.. The Diavel Titanium makes me drool..a bit.

Only mental defectives ride motorcycles.

Alpinestar runs a size or two SMALLER than most other gear manufacturers. They have a slimmer cut and shorter inseams.

Klim makes a limited line of women's gear; however, their Gortex stuff comes with a lifetime warranty to keep you dry. Klim is not nearly as sexy as Alpinestar; but, it's made better.

Macna makes really great stuff too. Twisted Throttle carries it and a few retail locations. European cut, slim and shorter inseams.

Firstgear works very well too for a casual rider. Doesn't stand up to hard use.

Olympia is built like a tank. Their summer gear is some of the best on the market. Their winter gear sometimes leaks.

Your best bet is to find a place you can try gear on and sit on a bike. Remember, pants need to be 2" longer than street pants. The cuffs ride up 2" when you sit on a bike.

If you can get it, you want D3o armor. It conforms to your body better. More comfortable.

Bodz or LD Comfort base layer will extend your saddle time.

ironpony.com is very good in terms of brand selection, price and service.

Vansonleathers.com makes some of the very best competition-weight and medium weight leathers...pricey but excellent.

My Vanson is my go-to jacket, I've had it for about 15 years.

Somehow last winter I must have left it behind someplace. I had a 1960's vintage British Motorcycle Jacket. The real deal with reinforced elbows. Weighed a ton. I am very upset by the loss; it fit me like a glove.

I have been riding since I was 12, over 30 years. Great to hear you are getting back into the sport.
If you know your sizes and what you want, this company has some great deals. They started out selling & trading used motorcycle jackets and it has blossomed into a full on business. I have dealt with them for years and they have name brand gear, usually last years models etc. on close-out deals.

There is nothing sexier than a female riding a motorcycle.

What model Ducati are you thinking about? For sure that is my fantasy bike. Nothing sounds or looks like the Duc.

I'm finally going to sell my 919. After Thanksgiving in the Mojave I have a bit of dirt lust and I'm putting a Ducati Scrambler in my garage as soon as I can. That's providing I don't recoil in discomfort when I swing a leg over it like the Monster or any of the classics series. The only comfortable Duc I've ever ridden was a Multi, and it was ornery (but roomy!). I have big hopes for the Scrambler. It's what I want, on paper.
I go light on gear. Half helmet....leather racing jacket....jeans and tactical boots. I decided at one point that I would gear up and started with a Fieldsheer full-armor jacket with liner. I found it so restrictive to my movement that I felt I was not scanning properly to be aware of my surroundings and instead just pinning it to get from here to there to avoid looking.
But....the jacket was nice and solid as a rock. I felt I could have lined up with the Packers while wearing it, and it looked great.

I know less than nothing about bikes and my experience is limited to a few rides and using them as a perch while sharing a joint at a party....but the OP's posted pic looks good to me. Of course I'd want pink in there somewhere.

The pink would be under the pants right in the crotch area;)

You do realise 90% of people will not fit your riding gear.

Seriously.

A real rider would know this.

And why the heck would you advertise it here with prices? Lol.

True...many of the grrls here are bigger than our crossdressing friend.
