They just don't make them like they used to. Look at the features on this baby.

I've programmed Trash-80's for use at the university.

Wanna buy a IIGS?

Practicaly new with printer and external (warm-up for 15 minutes) hard drive?

I remember when the 386 first came out, one reviewer stated that 16 mHz 386 machines were too powerful for desktops, and that they would only ever be used as file servers.

I also remember reading a review of the latest high performance add ins for a Mac SE, and the reviewer stating DOS/Windows application software would never run on a Mac. One year later somebody had done a software OS emulator to allow both.

Never say never (unless you are Never ;) ).

STG

You are a young one aren't you?

My dad worked on IBM's when they used cards and punch tape...

64 used to be a big deal, in a personal computer...

How wierd to be a second-generation computer guy.

Actually I am not but I like to act like I am young.

I did a lot of other stuff for about 15 years before I got into computers, and when I did the IBM XT was state of the art for DOS computers, and the Mac was way ahead of everybody else, now Apple can barely keep up.
