I can't really figure out what happened here nor the response. Particularly, why did they make the fans leave the ballpark? It seems like they were sending the fans into harms way. What were they supposed to do, make a mad dash for their cars? Can you imagine the traffic jam getting out of there? Was the sooting actually on stadium property or in the surrounding neighborhood?

That's ignorant and hurtful. There is a minority segment of our population who have adopted a culture of violence. However, law abiding members abhor this behavior, obviously.

I think that is wrong, I think people just ran because I watched a clip where the announcer on the PA system was imploring the crowd to remain in the stadium.

Oh. Correct. I initially read that they were escorting the fans out the center and right field gates.

I happen to think that with local news now being nationalized
that we create an atmosphere where losers can get notoriety.



I honestly think that if we stopped making a big deal out of it
that it would have a mitigating effect...
