Shitty Pretti deserved it

Who silenced whom?
CK was a lot of things but he was largely an advocate of free speech, I find it ironic that the response from most pro-Kirk people was essentially Will Smith “keep their name out of your mouth” even if they were literally quoting CK. As far as who silenced him it was a guy from a Republican family who wore a tie from the Trump Collection to his trial. He likely thought if CK didn’t shut up Trump would suffer a similar fate.

I'm having trouble understanding your point of view, here.
Lets assume Alex Pretti was angry, spit on a vehicle and kicked it.
Is your opinion that this warrants summary capital punishment?

Or did he deserve to die because he was carrying a gun?
The amount of backtracking these people have to do to keep up is crazy, they were pro gun until they weren’t, they were for people expressing themselves until they weren’t, they were against government over reach until they weren’t, they were for protecting legal citizens until they weren’t… they have no values, belief system or life philosophy… just phrases they repeat and later contradict.

It does strike me that there is a lot of hypocrisy involved, but I try to address these questions without attacking the person I disagree with. So, I really, genuinely intended my question to be a question.
I think that Pretti was a good person. He worked in the ICU, including during COVID, working to save people's lives. That is not inconsistent with him having lost his temper. Its probably a mistake to try to portray him as some sort of a saintly figure. He was human. He had flaws.
So, my question accepted the portrayal of him as an angry man, which may also be an aspect of the reality.
What does that mean to the people posting from the other side. I know its a long shot, but perhaps one of them will try to engage in the actual issue.

no one was SILENCED

they were FIRED because the companies or orginizations didnt want those CRETINS to be associated with them

they can say whatever they want

BUT NOT WHERE THEY WERE

Thank you for your response.
However, you do not really address my questions.
In fact this raises more.
Like, what makes you think that an ICU nurse whose career has been caring for sick and injured veterans is a terrorist?
And what leads you to conclude that the people being arrested by masked federal agents are criminals.
I'm sure you have sources for these conclusions, and I hope you bring the same skeptical and questioning mindset to those sources as you bring to evidence supplied by people with whom you disagree.

How about the fact that his own actions condemned him. The newest videos PROVE that Pretti has a history of violence against law enforcement. He carried a gun while committing those acts of violence and while resisting arrest.

He died because of his own refusal to be peaceful while carrying a gun. He wasn't executed. He wasn't murdered. He committed suicide by cop.

Alex Pretti Was a Hero. To These Workers, He Was a Colleague, Too.

“Alex Pretti was one of us,” an NIH worker who asked not to be named told me over the phone.

That’s a phrase I’ve been hearing a lot since Saturday, when the 37 year-old Veterans Affairs nurse was assaulted and then fatally shot by federal agents in Minneapolis.

The circumstances of the killing—called an execution by many observers—has rattled government workers. They’re distraught for the same reason many Americans are. There were numerous witnesses, for one. Donald Trump and his minions Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem thoughtlessly disparaged the victim. Ample video evidence directly contradicted the government’s narrative. And it was the second killing in a month by federal agents in Minneapolis, adding to DHS’s recent death toll—including many more who have died in ICE custody.

But to many federal workers, Pretti also was a colleague. The civil service was generally fragmented prior to Trump’s reelection. But his administration’s ruthless assault on the rights and livelihoods of career government employees has strengthened ties among workers from completely unrelated agencies, who have banded together to organize protests and share resources.

“There’s been so much fear being a federal employee about saying anything, but now the fear is going away.”

“I didn’t know Alex personally, but it does feel like a lot of federal workers right now are standing in solidarity with one another, and have been over the last year,” says Anna Culbertson, a former NIH employee who was terminated in the DOGE onslaught.

The administration refuses to release the names of any of the agents involved in either altercation, but people are tracking them by the numbers on their gear. At least two agents seem to have been involved in both incidents, which suggests the shooting was premeditated.
