I've just read it. I didn't even know you wrote something like that.

Sometimes I wonder whether chronic depression strikes only those with high empathy, idealists, or the combination of the two.

Melissa, I echo the sentiments of the others (and all of your readers) on hoping that your health is improving.

I agree that posting stories here, or in any free-to-read venue, is a good way to ensure that one's ideas and presentations can last beyond one's own lifespan. I've tried to keep that in mind as I write and seek publication. There may not be much of an audience for 'sex for the rest of us,' and maybe nobody has to do it, but I will anyway.

I don't have to wonder, TBH. Anyone just has to look at my stories and they know which ones survived. I began here in 2006 and dwindled off in 2014 or so. Some of the ones that have remained are no surprise, such as the Pokemon series. The Dhaseverse (as I called it) pieces are a little more of a surprise but not much. They're hot and they're essentially Paranormal Romance.

It's things like Dianna and He Learned, which are intentionally vague (as part of the literary style), completely non-erotic, and generally not very well received that did surprise me.

In general I'm just glad that people like to read my work. And even more grateful that the AH is still a place where the authors care about the craft, and each other most of all.

I was hospitalized on a cipro IV drip, and the infection seems to be defeated, but I ill do a urine culture once a week for at least another month. But it did some damage that needs to heal. I'm feeling better now that I have in months. Even better, knowing that there are folks who care.

I think you'll have to complete the healing process by writing a pee fetish story.

To answer your question: "Too Cold Not to Fuck" and its sequels will probably be remembered by more people than all my other works together. But which ones I'd prefer to live on? If I had to pick one, it would be "Into The Night". Just to annoy everyone who says that 2P POV never works.
