Here is an opportunity for writing.

Nancy is married, but wants to have some fun on the side. She is blind, but that has caused her to be far more sensitive to tones of voice and small touches than the normal person. Her husband is away for a long time - maybe he's in Iraq.

Describe her feelings and sensations as she gets a lover.

Interesting idea. It would be a difficult thing to write since most of us aren't blind and our entire understanding of hieightend senses comes from a combination of hearing things in the dark and watching Daredevil and other blind martial artists so I'm not sure we could do it justice, but I love the concept.
