Interesting how the first gift of jewelery was a pearl necklace...is there a hidden meaning in that???

Actually, I quite like the poor guy. I feel sorry for him. He appears very honest and straightforward. Evan doesn't quite like the role he signed up for, methinks.

Mind you...some of those women...omg...what primadonnas.

From 20 down to 12...I wonder who will be cut next. Any guesses?

I have no idea what you are talking about, Mia.

Which one of us is on crack tonight?

Joe Millionaire. I saw a commercial of him giving a pearl necklace. I refuse to watch the show.

We already have a very active thread on this topic.

The title might have thrown you...it's called "Joe Millionaire".

Gee, what would a Mia thread be like without a friendly visit from the neighbourhood PC troll?

I was thinking the same thing and your post is responsible for my computer screen being splattered with coke. Thank you for the fizzy fit of laughter. :)

Is that what you're calling yourself these days?

Go bother Frimost - at least there you're somewhat amusing.

Well, he is a little brighter than you.

Ok! Thanks for the suggestion!

:)

If being bright makes me anything like either you or him, I'd prefer to stay dim, thanks.

Actually, it was better than the last The Bachelor.

I wstched it and was pissy the black lady got a necklace. nothing to do with race just god she was like "I'm too pretty for this dress" WTF!!!!!
I think its very stupid and dishonest and if I was one of those girls I'd be very angry I dont see how there can be a future in any of the relationships on there cause it starts off on a big lie

but mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm hes yummyyyy

In my humble oppinion, this is the greatest reality show ever conceived. I may even start taping them.

Think about it. Shows like The Bachelor, Big Brother, Survivor, and the like have no hidden agenda. Everyone knows the game and play it to the hilt. There's absolutely no mystery as to the goal or even the ultimate outcome. Someone will win, the rest will not.

I think that it's delicious that these twelve woman will be vying for the hand of a man because he is, more or less, "perfect". In the end, the winner may end up feeling like a loser. The good part, though, is that she may also take a really good look at herself. She may not like what she sees.

In truth, after all the lies are revealed, I hope that the woman he chooses sincerely likes him for who he is; a hard working, lower middle class man. And he does seem to be good at heart. He deserves a woman :D

It didn't make sense to me at first, either. Then I figured out she must have made a newbie mistake and started a whole new thread instead of posting to the thread already started about the show.

I didn't watch it. I may watch just the last episode to see what happens when the woman learns she's been liked to. Other than that, I don't really care for the idea of the show and probably won't see any of the other episodes. It sure is getting a lot of hype though!

Pearl necklace? Sheesh, I thought you meant something entirely different.

Never mind.

I have a problem with thinking he is a "hard working, lower middle class man" - I didn't watch the show, but it was discussed this morning on the radio station I listen to. The man has been a model! Models make good money. And all the pictures I've seen of him "doing construction" - well there's no hard hat to be found - and where are all the other workers - looks like a model "shoot" on a construction site!
