I am a guy and I just started to shave my pubic hair. I always get the impression women nowadays really like this, is this true?

My main question.......Any tips on what to use to shave? To keep it from itching and having little stubs of hair?

Start off just trimming (use a beard trimmer) and then later start shaving, thus giving the skin around the area time to get used to the feeling and stubble......... I guess it sorta toughens up??

Some women do and some don't but ALL like not choking on pubic hairs

Hubby and I both shave. I only shave the top and he shaves the whole area. We use hair conditioner when we shave. Hubby shaves about every 3/4 days and I shave every other day.

I get mine at Wal-Mart, but you can find it most places. It's in where like they keep the Nair, etc.

Conditioners definately help.

I've found to keep down irritation using a shaving gel with alo in it helps too rather than using soap. But some would prefer soap so that's a matter of preferences.....I get wax jobs when I can and have the nerve to go lol.

But my bf shaves and and keeps trimmed in that area and GOD is it nice.

Shaving tips

We find that a Mach3 razor works best but recently Gillette has brought out the Mach3 Ultra, which might be worth a try. Always use a new blade when shaving your pubic hair.

If you have normal length pubic hair cut the majority of it off with scissors then have a long hot soak in the bath, this softens the hair. Take some form of shaving cream I like to use something with a lot of lanoline in it The Bodyshop or Lush do some nice stuff www.lush.co.uk and apply to the remaining hair. Take your razor and shave with the hair, never against it. Don’t press to hard it will cause “red blotches” in a day or so. Once you have finished and there are some difficult places for a woman, rinse well to remove all the shaving cream. I apply some Aloe Vera gel over the area or some of your favourite un-perfumed body lotion.

I shall add that you can take your time and have some fun with this. Think of lots of different “hairstyles” you can do before going for the “Total Brazilian” look. Stripes and postage stamps are popular.

The trick is to do it carefully and unhurriedly to begin with and of course post shaving masturbation is always optional!

Just my $.02: Marie does not like me to shave. She wants me hairy. Lack of hair seems feminine to her. I assume she's not the only woman who feels that way.

I love the shaved or trim man. I know alot of my gf's are that way too. I only have 2 gf's that like the natural look. However, its everyone's choice.

Shaving Pubs


Well it looks like the biggest majority like their guys shaved. I know that most of my buddys like their women that way.
I am trying to decide if I should (i'm 51 yo) that would be a first.
Would be nice if I could find a lady to help (could be a lot of fun).
