Shaving your pussy...

Shaving...

My ex hated a shaved pussy; said it felt like he was with a child.
My current boy friend prefers me shaved, but I must say I'm not in love with shaving it.
The mound is not a problem, but those lips. . .ouch!
I've had success using the old barber trick of softening the area with a hot towel first; as hot as you can stand it.
This makes the shaving much easier, and less painful.
Good luck!

My skin is sensitive and irritates easily. Any ideas?

Do a search on this forum for the word "Magic" and you'll find a ton of messages and testimonials for Magic Shave powder and lotion.

It is a depilitory specifically developed to deal with the combination of curly hair, "shaving bumps"and sensitive skin. The label will tell you it is for "Black Men's Beards" but there have only been two people admit to being sensitive to it. If you follow the instructions and do a patch test, you should be OK.

YUMMM

I love all three ways...wild&bushy, trimmed and shaved. It is always a thrill to get in / down there and find something new or different. Smooth as a baby's butt, a tiny beard or a mop. Digit.

Remember when you were a teen or madly in love and you used to just neck (kiss, suck face) for hours. The most fun I've ever had with a shaved vagina was when I treated "it" just like a set of lips and I just "necked" for an hour +++. I'm not sure what she did but it was super soft with not a hint of stuble and it really was like kissing her (other) lips. I spent over an hour just kissing and frenching that little puss, held her bum like I'd hold her head. Don't remember how many times she came but I was so turned on I almost came without any contact at all.

There is a new lotion out by jergans that is said to make the hairs thiner and less noticable. that might help.

The new lotion from Jergens is made for your legs ONLY! It does have chemicals in it and I hate to see someone get hurt by using it in an area it wasn't intended to go.

I should probably point out that Magic Shave , The official Literotica pussy cleaner, is designed ONLY for the faces of Black men and carries warnings about using it anyplace else too. :p

Any Depilitory, (Nair, Jergens, Magic, Epilstop, etc,) contains "chemicals" that can be bad for sensitive skin, and carry warnings about using them on body parts they weren't designed for.

The warnings are because the maufacturers are protecting themselves from stupid people who use the products in ways they weren't tested and certified to be used. That doesn't necessarily mean that they won't work, or are dangerous, only that they haven't been tested in a particular application.

Using Jergens' product for legs elsewhere is sort of like using Orajel for sunburn pain -- It isn't what the label says it's for, but it works wonderfully.

The magic lotion is much better and it does work. Try that the powder you have to make into a paste and put it on that way. Most stores carry i now. Make sure you do a test first on the area . And give it a couple tries until you skin gets used to it. It may irritate a little first time or two but after that it will be fine. And its is much better than shaving bumps. They guys love a bare pussy so give a try . I know wizzie loves a bare pussy nothing like skin to skin. *wink* he's bare too now. OHHH how sexy. Lol.

Skitten's right (must be a cat thing ;) )

but remember...
TEST PATCH FIRST

can't stress that enough.

(good luck)

I'm one of the two people who cannot use Magic Lotion.
My skin is **way** sensitive, too.
Hence, i continue to shave. Here's what i do:

1. Always have a really really sharp razor blade. I change mine about every 4th shave.

2. Keep your pussy shaved. Don't let the hair grow for more than a couple days between dates with the razor.

3. Do it in the shower. Wash everywhere else, then soap uo your pussy and shave there. The hot water will have softened everything and it'll be easier.

4. Use a very mild soap (i use plain white unscented ivory or that clear neutrogena) OR use a shaving gel specifically for sensitive skin.

5. shave from the outside areas to the more inside areas. Stop if it hurts.

6. After your shower, rub a bit of lotion (i most often use plain aloe vera gel) into the area and walk around naked until it dries.

And if you try Magic Lotion (which you should since so many here just rave about it) be sure to do the test patch first. That's a very important step for people like us with sensitive skin.

Hope this helps.

my hint...

After years of shaving, I have a formula that works well for me, and I'm happy to share.

1. I always soak in a hot bath for at least 15 minutes to soften up the growth.

2. I use a very sharp mens' razor, mine is a Trac II, and change blades every time I shave. Along with the mens razor I use mens shaving cream. Think about it Ladies, this stuff is for coarse beards. ;)

3. I keep lather on one hand so that I'm never trying to shave a dry area, and I can pull the skin taught to get a better shave, or I can keep my tender bits from harm, all without washing off the lather.

4. I only shave once a week, but I'm not terribly hairy to begin with so I may be getting away with something that others can't.

If anyone is taking a poll, I think shaved is the way to go! I kept myself shaved even when I only had my own preferences to consider. I'm just glad that the man I married is such a convert!

If anyone has any thoughts or information about permanent hair removal (lasers and such), please share.

and another thing...

Basia,
Love your spandex comment!!! Football season here I cum!
I just adore the tight ends!!

Question for anyone who has used Magic....

Can you use it on your legs too? I tried doing a search, but I couldn't find anything.

Someone mentioned using Jergens "Naturally Smooth" lotion on your bikini area.

It CAN be used on the bikini area read the back of the bottle
it says :

" Use as a daily moisturizer.
Works great on legs and bikini area."

:)
