maybe use an ice cube and rub your face with it, it's going to cool down your skin and somewhat help with the shaving rash

Put some hydrocortisone cream (sold OTC in the US, but not Canada, to my knowledge) on it, and that should reduce the itching and irritation.

Don't shave again until it's subsided a bit, and when you do, be sure to use a new blade, your skin is hot from the shower (or put a warm washcloth on it for a few minutes), and a good shaving cream/gel/oil (King of Shaves makes great products), then apply a bit of the cortisone cream and/or a moisturizer after to soothe the skin.

I use Tend Skin In-Growing Hair Solution just after shaving and it works very well

It is sold in Canada, but not in as high a % as you can get OTC in the US.....and you often have to ask the pharmacist for it as it's often stored behind the counter, but available without prescription. I THINK you can get 0.5% OTC in Canada.

Ah, thanks for the info. I needed some last time I was there, and didn't see it, plus I'd heard it wasn't OTC there, so I just assumed. Now I'll know where to ask if it ever comes up again. :rose:

Whenever i've had a shaving rash, all i've done is rub some moisturiser into the skin, and it appears to work. So hopefully that'll help a little.
