Shaving my girlfriend

Hello there all!

I checked out the Blank Manual but didn't see anything on this topic. Sorry if I just missed it and this is redundant.

My girlfriend and I are planning to attend a BDSM event next month. She would like to go with her pussy shaved. She's never done it before, nor had it done. Creams and such don't work on her legs, so she doesn't think they'll work on her pubes. It's also hard for her to reach with a razor, so she's asked me to do it for her.

I love the idea. We both actually think it's very sexy too. But I thought that well before we try this, I should find out a bit about it. Has anyone out there done this? If so, and tips or suggestions? Ladies, if you shave or have shaved, I'd also really like to hear from you. Are there things/products I should use? Avoid?

Honestly, Armphid, I'd recommend that you convince her to do it ... The thing about shaving such a private area (as sexy as it might be for you to do it) is that there's still the chance of nicking her with the blade and continuing to nick her b/c you don't know she's in pain ... She'd eventually shout, sure, but I just think that might kill the mood, so probably just help her research shaving herself and you should be good to go (and of course you can watch ) ... It's also a good idea for her to do it so she can learn how to and will be able to surprise you w/ a nicely shaved pussy for future anniversaries/birthdays, etc. Just tell her to shave slowly and warily and she should be good to go! Don't overlook the electric razor...

I can't use creams or waxes so I shave every 2 or 3 days. Once you're practised at it, it only takes a couple of minutes. Regular shaving cream is fine to use and my practised technique is as follows. Use a sharp razor with at least 2 blades to avoid having to go over areas repeatedly as it will cause soreness. I use the same Gillette Venus that I use for my legs and it works well as the head tilts to follow curvatures and minimises the risk of cuts. The one I've linked to also vibrates... which could be fun. Master enjoys shaving me sometimes while playing with my clit so I have to fight to stay still and avoid being cut and while that may not be to your taste, a little stimulation along the way will add to the fun.

If she is quite hairy you might want to trim with scissors first, otherwise the hairs will get pulled and snagged.

Shave the mound. Never go against the direction of hair growth. I find shaving downwards with the hairs tricky to perform myself so I shave from side to side, ensuring the stray hairs at the edges are all removed.

Next, I shave either side of the pussy lips, working inwards from the crease between pussy and thigh. The stray hairs between the pussy and anus can be shaved by working outwards rather than inwards.

Then I open out one pussylip and shave along the inner edge from the base towards the clit. This is repeated on the opposite side. To get the last couple of stubborn hairs where the lips fold in over the clit I lift and open out just the very top of the lip and get the stray hairs. Always shave along the lip and not inwards or outwards to avoid nicking the skin.

I always apply a little moisturiser afterwards, to avoid any itchiness or soreness.

What she said.. with one exception instead of scissors.. use a beard trimmer with the adjustable settings.. start with the second largest setting, then go back with the smallest setting..
then use a hot cloth and bath her good with it, then you can apply any shaving cream etc...
then use a razor. a Venus works good, also a mach3 ..
for me doing her the mach3 is better.. the smaller handle is a bit easier to be delicate with.

go slow the first few times, and it gets easier.

Don't be scared! I had to ask my husband to help me out in the same area when I was pregnant as I couldn't see my pussy let alone comfortably reach it to shave. He was so terrified of hurting me that I think it made it worse. Now I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant again so I find myself in the same boat. I asked him to help me out again...we have yet to do it though, he might be scared. We need to hurry though...I feel like it might be a jungle down there!

The beard trimmer or hair clippers will work well. If you don't have either one of those just trim it all down with scissors first. Shave with the hairs or across, not against! I've found that it's nearly impossible for me to cut myself when I use the womens razors that have the guards on them. And just go slow. You'll be fine!

Oh and one more thing...I've never done this myself but I have heard that if you use spray deodorant on the freshly shaved area it cuts down on any redness and/or ingrown hairs. Has anyone else tried this???

I think Noxzema (?) has "bikini" razors. They are usually in by the waxes and Nair....for some reason, I think they work better than normal razors.
