Sharpe OOC Casting Call

That was going to be my intention... ;)
Will post something in the 'threads needing players' thread shortly... :)

You guys are most probably going to kill me, but...

I think I should leave the SRP. The more and more I post, the more it becomes like work, and I am a ludicrously high-level procrastinator with "Keyboard of Nerd" ( -2 to stamina, +2 to imagination) and "Monitor of Doomed Sight" ( -4 stamina... at the time, it seemed like a nice flaw to have).

Manage my NPCs as you wish. Steiner can take Alfonso over if he wants, and just use an online translator to spout some Spanish every now and then.

Also, I know my wording sounds harsh, but I'm feeling quite dead now...

I have a couple of threads like that myself. If it's not fun anymore, then of course you should withdraw.

I don't think I'd ever kill anyone over anything that happened on Lit, so you're quite safe...

Writers Wanted

Someone to fill the role of Captain Alfonso de Avellanos y Marca and maybe Sgt. Patrick Harper.

Lady Mornington has convinced me to join. Although I have to warn you, I am not very knowledgeable about the Sharpe books. I do enjoy Sean Bean, though.

Britwitch, hopefully we could talk about this a bit?

Welcome aboard. If you have bit torrent capability, I suggest downloading Sharpe's Rifles. That should just about give you the skinny on the period, characters and so forth.

Enough for you to visualise, anyway.

Yay...ecstatic to hear it :D

Have PM'd you... ;)

I hope that Kate doesn't require serious medical attention, since that is something I definitely do not know much about.

*grins* Cuts, bruises and shock.

Sharpe would prescribe getting to bed and a strong, sweet, cup of tea. But then he'd likely prescribe that for gunshot wounds so it's a good job HE'S not the regimental surgeon, eh? :)

Ah, but a cup of tea can be a miraculous thing and have wondrous effects on the drinker ;)

Even better with a tot of brandy to go with it. Medicinal purposes only of course. I do think Kate will need it seeing how her maid is behaving ;)

...*flutters eyelashes in an overly innocent manner*...who? Susannah?

Just to let peoples know, Mr Britwitch is flying over here tonight and so I will probably be...indisposed :D...until after the weekend
I will leave Susannah in Owen's more than capable hands until I return... :)

Oh that sounds absolutely delightful. Make sure that the young gentleman hmm caters to all your needs now dearest.

As for Susannah, let us just say that Kate will have a very serious conversation with the poor creature when ever she's recovered enough.

*I have to keep up appearences don't I*

But of course...
I would expect nothing less... ;)
And neither would Susannah!

I do believe I felt a pang of jealousy wash over me ;)

But do not fear, I think it likely Owen will make sure Susannah isn't bored...

...*blushes*...how very flattering...
Well, off to the airport go I...have fun and hope you all have lovely weekends...

Happy Easter to all.

Living in a country far from my home I don't have the usual family commitments, but social commitments will no doubt hit my schedule too. Hope everyone has as much fun as I intend to.

Is Easter coming up? Well, I hope all of you celebrating it have a wonderful time, and as for me, it's my annual excuse to get chocolate rabbits and jellybeans. Yum!

I also got Sharpe's Rifles in the mail, hopefully I'll watch it tonight or tomorrow.

Easter...yes I was aware of something coming up. Since I, like Steiner, live in country far from home, and not really having a life, I'll make sure to keep the thread going while the rest of you are indulging yourself with chocolate bunnies and what not.

Hello everyone :)

Hope you all had lovely, peaceful, chocolate filled weekends... ;)
Mine was most wonderful

Will post something from Susannah very soon...but my, my...isn't she being scandalous...?! :D

I believe now would be an (in)opportune time for Major Sharpe and/or his mistress to stumble upon our two lovers...

I do feel a bit guilty for having monpolised the thread for so long, no offense or slight intended of course to the wonderful Britwitch.

None taken...
And I agree, now is the perfect/worst time for an interruption... ;)

Dear Mrs Britwitch

Seems you and I both posted at the same time...Should I edit my post to make it fit with yours?

(+23 today and clear skies. Ice cream by the river instead of working... :) )
