Patient1 so thoughtfully inquired about my software project so I figured I'd share the pictures that will be used. However, there are hundereds, so I could never post them all. I will do some of the best though, and my favorites.
I have a shitload more pictures I need to get this season, but being that my work carries most of these, I'll have no problem getting them.

I will do this is an orderly fashion, and not mix perennials with annuals.

Perennials

Alcea rosea
Hollyhocks

Very nice...my grandmother used to grow those. Brings back some really fond memories :)

Ah yes.... Grandma's garden.... so full and rich.... having a sweet aroma and a bright patchworking of color....

Another oldtime garden favorite....

None of these are in bloom here yet. We just have daffs and tulips, lenten rose, creeping phlox and some other rare things, like lenten rose and Reticulated Iris.

Woodland and rock garden favorites...

Very nice. We have a lage number of these that came from my wife's grandmother in Louisville, KY. They've been growing in our yard for about 12 years now.

A few for today.....

Astilbe chinensis 'Amethyst'

Early blooming False spirea

That false indigo is divine.

I thought that the plant that I put in last year died over the winter. It's crown was totally exposed and it looked very dead. Well, last week, it started sending out a shoot! :D

It is a beautiful plant when mature. It has a vase like habit, and is a bold bluish purple.......... easy to grow, and easy to start from seed. Plants reseed themselves easily too.

Flower of Iris siberica.......

Siberian Iris (water lover, great for boggy, poorly drained sites)

I just divided this thing yesterday, and man was it tough. I had to literally hack it apart with a big knife. The shovel wouldn't do it.

I had one, now have three!

Let's get a different color in here for the last one today..

Heuchera sanguinea

Coral Bells

Starfish,

Your flowers are all so beautiful. I think I'm going to copy the pictures and cut them out and attach them to stakes in the ground in my garden. This way my neighbors will have something beautiful to look at when they walk by. lol

I just don't seem to have the right touch when it comes to flowers and bushes. Maybe this year I will have better luck.

I'm enjoying your garden so much. You are a good photographer as well as gardener. Thank you for sharing with us.

:rose: (I am good at these kinds of flowers. lol)

Thanks ladies.

LMAO @ the paper garden idea...... NOT bad at all...
I will gladly compose a list of the easiest perennials to grow in most soils, if you think it will help you get some color going in your garden.....

For those of you who don't know, I am a Horticulturist and I am creating a software program for students to use in learning these plants.

These photos are for that program. :D

Off to do more work.
See you all tomorrow!

Here is an easy grower..... Reseeeds well and butterflies love it.
Rudbeckia fuldiga var. tomentosum

Black eyed susan

I just moved to a new house that has no flowers anywhere...a bunch of weeds. When I get ready to do some things out there, I would love your advice...I'll keep ya posted! :)
