It depends on what youwant your avatar to say. For me personally, a picture that is so obviously distorted makes me queasy -- there's just something wrong that nags at me, "fix that!"

Obviously, I think the one I posted is better, but a proper resizing of the original (that preserves the original proportions) would be even better.

While in general I agree with Weird Harold, there is something kinda cool about the distorted Cable. Maybe I just don't like that pic all that much, I dunno. I'd like to see Shaq get a whole slew of Nathan pix and rotate them... I liked your last one a lot better, BTW. But I get sick of mine after a very short time, so maybe it's me...
