I think felicitations with a horse is illegal in some states

Its considered a tongue fetish I think.

I wonder if you would say "I just tried felicitation" or maybe "I just got Shang'ed"

God, how I love this woman. :D

Morning, all, and thanks to neonlyte for the hello and jammies for the scritches - you always get just the right spot.

The horse has a monstrous ego. I think we all know that. I'm not sure that having my own thread is helping with the ego, but it sure makes my mood pleasant. :rose: It's lovely to see all of my friends in one place.

Even the lack of time and consistent internet can not prohibit me from making my mark on the "Adore Shanglan" page. Nope. Not one bit. *flush up fresh briar patch* There we go. All set now, I think.

Shang, I just happened upon a draft you edited for me some time ago. Your comments were more interesting than the story. :)

Funny you should say that. I had the same experience.
It was quite moving, and I saved it for future reference.
I was truly impressed. :)

You should have seen my novel. Shang wrote a novel in red in the margins. It was better than mine and read easier too :)

I, um ... do rather write ... comments.

I just get excited. When it's a really good story, I'm caught up in it and having such a good time that I want to talk to someone about how much fun it is. :D So I figure, who better than the author?

True story - one day I was on a flight with the SO, reading Marx as we flew out to England. I was busily scrawling in margins and headers and footers, underlining, annotating, having an argument with Marx on his damned annoying habit of starting with an assumption, explaining every ramification, and then ending the essay by proving the damned assumption. The SO, watching this with some amusement, chose to ask:

"Are you reading that book, or writing it?"

Thanks, though. I'm glad that they amused. :) I had fun writing them.

Yeah! Down with the MAN!

Except that man with the freshly-fluffed briar patch. He can stay.

*nuzzles* You know I lurves you special. I felt the same way the other day; I happened on an old draft of Seven Weeks of Silence and was entranced by your comments. I spent half an hour reading them for the pleasure of it.
