Well, I will be unable to go to shul since I'm recuperating from surgery. However, I hope all of you can make it to shul. Followed, of course, but a family feast!! Yummy, I'm gonna miss that!!

OK Naughty. I'm not Jewish but I have this thing about understanding religious rituals/sayings/holidays/etc...

Can ya 'splain "Shanah Tova" and "L'shanah habaah b'yerushalaim" to me?? Use little words and type slowly please.. I'm kind of a slow reader! Learn me!

I'd be happy to learn you Shanah Tova means Happy New Year. L'shanah habaah b'yerushalaim means Next Year in Jerusalem, which is used frequently even though most people don't really mean it.
