Yeah it is.

~ Especially when she snuggles in against you for warmth and company and starts shoving you off the bed... like mine does. He curls up right behind my knees most nights and then starts to stretch out as the night progresses.... pushing me closer and closer to the edge.

~ And it's a KING SIZE bed too!! Dammit! (not really) :D

Nah-- not really -- it is public knowledge that i had a "fling" online with a man off of here -- and he left and now he is back -- dont know if i can handle it or not --but i will be around-- just not sure what to do -- or who your real freinds are--yano??

I can figure that one out.

Hell, it'll just be a second critter trying to use me for a bed. The mutt does that enough.

~ :D This little fella likes to lay on me too. He's very good at that. When I brought him home - he got into the habit of sleeping under the covers, right smack dab behind my knees or my ankles. Now he's on top of the blankets, curled right behind the knees and loves to push me toward the edge.

He's a feline Dom if ever there was one. Or he'll come lay on me and go to sleep and start purring. What type of mutt do you have?

~ Are they a long-hair dog or a short-hair? Is that a herding breed? I know these may sound like dipshit questions... but I suddenly can't remember if I've ever seen the breed. :( Getting forgetful stinks... :(

Yeah they're herders. They're the dogs that do that agility thing.

~ Well I was scared too - but of the other drivers who'd pass by me doing the speed limit and taking chances. I was more scared of the driveway than the roads. On one side of the drive there was a concrete wall and on the other side - a steep embankment into a ravine.

I miss snowy times like that - very much - too. I'd go back to Mass or where ever they got lots of snow - in a heartbeat. To me, even though it's cold outside, Winter isn't Winter unless there's snow on the ground. And Christmas isn't Christmas without it either. Our ski area hasn't even opened in the last two years - maybe three - conditions have been so poor here. *heavy sigh*

I can so relate to that. Times used to be that our ski hills NEVER needed fake snow...always had enuff of the real stuff. Everytime I complain about Winter people tell me to move South. I honestly would miss the snow! I know, some peeps think I'm crazy but I'm with you..Winter is not Winter w/o it, and definately neither is Christmas!!! Listening to the howling winds at night, snuggled up in bed, just isn't the same when it's all rain...lol. I used to love getting up really early in the morning when it was snowing and having to watch the school closing reports. When the kids would get up and find they had no school, out came the boots and sleds! Hours and hours were spent outside then back in and I would make them some homemade hot cocoa.....boy, those were the days.

I'd like to have days like that w/ my grandaughter but first and foremost, we need some damn snow!!! I have a dear friend of mine who finally got sick of the snow and cold in Chicago and moved to Arizona. I spent Christmas there last year and it was sooo strange! Christmas lights on Cactus's...and hanging around the pool on Christmas day!! It just wasn't the same.

~ Not meaning to sound dense or unintelligent - but this agility thing you refer to - is that like a cutting horse cutting a calf/cow from the herd for branding?

~ Oh yeah! My favourite thing to do when I lived in Mass - and it either had snowed or was snowing - especially first thing in the morning - before any one else was up - I shared a house with five other people and we all shared the kitchen. I'd head into the kitchen to make the coffee then I'd go wake up my sisterfriend - who had the room across the hall from mine.

We'd then come out to the kitchen, grab a cup of coffee and then I'd go outside, in my socks and flannel nightgown, and stand on the back deck and listen to the quiet of the woods. It was so peaceful out - that you could actually hear the snowflakes fall on the dry leaves. I'd stand out on the deck and enjoy my entire cup of coffee while she got ready for work. Then when it was finished, I'd go inside, make her lunch and some small breakfast. Then, after she left - it would still be dark out - I'd go straighten her room, then make a second cup of coffee and go back on the deck.

It was also a tradition that I started with my son when he was little. We'd always share the first snow together - no matter where we were. We haven't had that opportunity for the last few years now. I'm still waiting for the first snow to happen here this year!

My sister has an Aussie Shepard on her horse farm. She's a great Pup!!! Are they always so lovable?

Well, Whiskey loves the hell out of women. I'd say he's halfway loveable to me too. Seems he loves the hell out of the Kitten too.
