It's indeed priceless to KNOW that they listened SOMEWHERE down the line!! Just when ya stop and think.."Where did I go wrong"..they jump up and fool ya! Like I said Toots, with age comes wisdom..there IS hope.

~ *Nods as she sips her coffee* I hear ya child. Now, from your lips - to His ears; then may He be able to snap the man-child out of this foresaken pissant attitude of his. *sighs heavily* I may have to rely heavily on him - soon.

~ WOO HOO!! Ya gotta love it when the bairns, of any age, grasp the fact that Mom needs their help when her plate gets over full. Note how their consideration of YOUR needs come to the fore - all of a sudden!? *looks at you with eyes big and wide - like the little ones*

*butting in unannounced (but hopefully not uninvited)*

my kids are pretty considerate of their Dad as well (more so as they get older)

*LoL* Only a sleepy Jazey_girl could do that! :D And yes, Azul does make a mean cuppa - when he gets awake ahead of us lazey_bottoms. ;) .o0( Mrs. Olson? Which was her brand? )

Fogers Darlin..Folgers!! The only stuff that enters my house..well, besides Tim Hortons and Dunkin Donuts coffee.

Reminds me of the joke about the lil boy who was playing w/ his toy soldiers at Gramma's house...when gramma came down to get coffee they were inside of her mug. She asked the lil boy about it and he proudly stated..."Gramma, The best way to start a day, is SOLDIERS in your cup!!

~ Never uninvited, never. Grab a chair and a bagel and I'll start some fresh coffee. :) Well, the man-child is currently a grown man of 28 - but is acting like a spoiled brat of 12 right now. *grrr*

Awww! Now that's sweet! *giggles as she drains her cup* Time for a refill! Ya ready fer one, Jaz? I'm a "Good to the last drop" person myself. I can do Mrs. Olson's brand when, on the odd occasion, I can't find mine. :)

thank you - I think so but nobody ever said that parenting's easy. They did bring their worries from time to time, not to mention the usual blood sweat and tears

Maxwell House - "Good to the last drop" - literally! ;)

Thats what I used to drink...swore by the stuff, and then they changed it somehow...this must have been 15 years ago...and it just didn't taste the same ever since. But it used to be what we kept in our fridge.

Mama used to keep Mrs. Olson in the freezer. When I would make our coffee in the morning - Mother would take 1 level tsp. and I would use just a tad over 1/4 tsp. It's too strong for me to use more than that.

Used to drink Hills Bros. - until that changed. Don't know what they did to the process - but it suddenly started tasting yuck!

*not quite five hours later*

sits looking at a fairly miserable several hours old grey European day: perhaps the rain will hold off. Glad I mowed the lawns yesterday

cancel that last weather report. The sun has got his hat on, and all is well with my part of the world, esp. that part named Lit.

Happy Easter to all visitors

~ Since it's Easter Sunday - and I'd really rather not "kiss your butt" ;) - but I'll wager you've kissed The Blarney more than once - how about I say Ciad Mil Falte instead?

Happy Easter Z!
