I'm sorry I haven't been here much. I've been wicked busy taking care of some extended family members who were in two separate car accidents - a day apart - at the same intersection!!

The accidents occured that Sunday and Monday just before the 4th, and I haven't been around much since. The man-child and I talked to the ex-b-i-l, to make plans for a cookout on the 4th and found out about what had happened.

He's still in a neck brace and on pain meds. I really can't stay now as it is; I'm late getting back to them. I came home to check on the animals and make sure I hadn't left any windows open.
