Does anyone know good sources for SF erotica/romance?

I know there is a section here for both nonhuman and sf+fantasy, but they are fairly small and mostly vampire and fantasy respectively. I'm not much into fanfic either.

Maybe you could ask at the authors hangout, or the general board. Honestly, I don't get away from lit very often.

I've started a sci-fi story this week, so far written on the back of manifest sheets while sitting on a forklift.(It's been a slow week) I've written about 1200 words so far, but a rewrite will take it to about 2000 and I'm still nowhere near the first sex scene. Do you think anyone will bother reading that far or get bored and go and read something else?

1200 words isn't that bad. One lit page is 3800 words, and I will easily read a story up to 3 lit pages long.

make your story as long as it needs to be - people will read it!

Sorry man, wish I did. It's been years since I've read a good SF erotic piece.

You might try the Novels and Novellas section. I know there's at least one fantasy story there (mine), but I haven't been loking at the stories on Lit too much lately.

Be sure to tell me when you have something. Bad advice is free too :)

I'll give them a read later. More satire than fanfic?

I know I have seen those sites before at some point. I will check out that greyarchive one again some time..

Thanks!

Its love Jim, but not as we know it...

Haven't yet got a feel for the quality on greyarchive, but it seems fun enough. Definitely a 'this was written by a 14year old boy' feel to much of it but I guess that is unavoidable when you are talking about a SF site. Im suspecting for that reason it is low on romance and high on tentacles. Actually tentacles are ok if they are romantic tentacles ;)

Yep, I guess I need more romance than that. Not that I need that much romance, just not so deep into the negative on the romance scale of things.

They all made a bloody good try tho.

It inspired me to write this short animated movie about three green bug-eyed space monsters with really red tongues...

Here goes.....

--- :p :p :p ---

THE END.

..well I liked it!

It lacked a plot. What your movie needs is about 900 space virgins for defiling by the said tongues...
