Sexy Hands

Rhino, I hope you were conscious of your reply. "wring my neck", with you hands of course, eh? You said you were kidding, but look at what you wrote.

And of course I did not include all men (vs. humanity) in my remark.

Dirt Man, I know all you said is true, and evident. I was only very personally reacting to your previous statement. Obviously I know of many male artists, poets, etc., but I think of them as that first, then as male, or men or masculine, whatever.

As for "men" or "man", as in its patriarchal use for humanity, that's where creation does not immediately come to mind for me. Just my opinion, OK?

Damppanties..

I love the hands on your vogueing dude. Nevermind his pose, I like the hands! Good example.

Wow, this thread exploded today, didn't it =) Lots of replies now.. McKenna, I just wanted to say that I totally agree on the handshaking vs women thing.

I've actually found that the best way to shake someone's hand is to neither be limp, nor grip too firmly. Handshaking is a subtle art that if overdone can turn into a dominance contest. Shaking hands with someone who wants to crush your bones is as bad as shaking hands with the aforementioned 'wet fish' ..

So, it's tricky. You don't want to look like you're trying to boost a fragile ego by crushing the other person's hand, but at the same time you don't want to look like a pussy by having a limp handshake. So, you have to match the other person's grip Of course, since both of you are doing it at the same time, and handshakes normally don't last but for a second, you have to be pretty quick on your reactions and fine muscle control.

What I do is make the handshake 'shape' with my hand as I reach out, and then tense the muscles. But I don't start to squeeze until I feel the other person doing so. That way, if I get a limp handshake, or if I'm shaking hands with a woman who wishes to shake daintily, I don't come across as some overbearing bone crushing lout, but if the other person starts to squeeze, my hand is already tensed against that, and will provide resistance and the appearance of a firm handshake in return.

Phew, complex stuff, for what is really just a simple greeting.

Raph, whose hands couldn't really be considered baby soft.

Do you find hands sexy? What makes a hand sexy? Does it turn you on to have someone fondle/kiss/bite your hands &/or do you do the same to your lover?

Yes, I do find men's hands sexy. Or should I say, sensous? I have a thing for long slender fingers. For some reason I like men with almost feminine hands.

When I think of hands I think of grace. Perhaps I'm into hands because I've been playing the piano since the age of six. It got me to notice people's hands. If someone has long fingers I'll tell them they should play the piano or guitar.

I love it when my hands are caressed and kissed. It's plain sensual to me. One guy did the caressing part so well that I swear I had a mini-orgasm from it. :0

I also enjoy to have my palm kissed, then a finger lightly running over it, tracing the lines. Then each finger should be kissed and sucked slowly. And yes, I love to do it to my lover.

Geesh, I should just write a fetish story about hands. LOL

stubby little hands..getting creaky with age...hands get dirty..nails longish. Polishing my appearance is not a passtime for me.

will wash and trim for intimacy of course!....but I dig in the dirt and paint and plaster and whathave you....

i write notes to myself on the back of my left hand..constantly

rhino-see not as sexy as one conjures?
Au contraire, rhino... very sexy to think about an artist getting his hands dirty with paint and plaster and creating something beautiful.

Perhaps it's that men create with their hands that make men's hands seem so sensual to women who are the creators of life with their whole body.

Dirt Man,

You know, I was thinking about this thread whilst at work today watching the glassblowers. I think the thing about men's hands for me is watching them move. I'm not necessarily attracted to veins and tendons, but the interplay of how they work. The fascination with something that create something so beautiful, or be so cruel. The uncertainty of not knowing which of these options to expect. Mystery is a good thing.

Whisper :rose:

I mentioned a ballet dancer's hands in an earlier post. This photo is Russian ballerina, Galina Mesentzeva, as "the dying swan".

Nothing against the beauty of the man or the admittedly luscious-looking digits. I tend to be attracted to men whose vanity is expressed in other ways than by body-building or obsessing with their appearance, or in this case, posing and preening.

He seems to be "vogueing" and it's a Madonna thing.

Well, he is a male photographic model. :)

He's got lots of other poses too... this is admittedly not a very good pose as such, but I put it there for the hands. I should stop really... I can go on and on about this one.

Glad you liked 'em Taffy. :)

Hands

Thanks, Raphy, for that thing about handshaking. I'm not a wimp, but have had my hands injured more than once by jerks trying to prove they are stronger for some macho power trip.
One was my best friend, who had huge, very strong hands, and grew up on a farm.

One guy I met years ago had a handshake like a very linp noodle. Turns out he was a very good pianst and was concerned with getting his hands mangled.

I have better uses for my hands! Touching, caressing, playing music, fixing things, making things, and more. I know at least one woman who likes my fingers in my AV, and I hope others do as well.
Not bragging, but I have had many fun times with them (my hands)!

Sorry if I sounded aggressive Perd, it was in my hands, not my heart. How you feel about hands is of course your personal preference. And what can I as a mere male know about what a woman feels about men's hands? LOL

Icingsugar..I am sure your hands are lovely :D
My husband worked for the post office for a while, paper cuts are a bitch you know....and even though at the time his hands got quite calloused once he stopped working there they went smooth and soft again very quickly...must be something to do with the key tapping on a keyboard..softens the little pinkies :)

You know the only hands i've liked of the pictures posted are the voguing guys hands...lovely fingers....all those others with the boney knuckles...*shudders* set my teeth on edge.

this is the only pic i can find of my hubby's pinkies(he's terribly camera shy and i have very few pics of him full stop)

you'll have to excuse my breast....but those are gorgeous fingers to me :)

I met a most fascinating woman today. She is a publishing agent who is scouting for writers for a teaching book. We had an hour long meeting where we discussed the book's disposition, deadlines and so on. Would be a big deal for me, since that would grant me full time pay for 3 months.

Anyway, she had the most fantastic hands I've ever seen.

They looked pretty normal, until she started talking, and they started dancing. Outside sign language, I've never seen anyone communicate so expressively with their paws.

And somehow it went beyond that too, since there was no real stucture to what the hell she was doing. But every line, word and change of pace was accentuated with a wave, a tap on the desktop, drawing little patterns in the air...

I posted earlier that hands was indifferent to me, except as tools. But that's not entirely true. I don't find them erotic, but I pay much attention to them when it comes to reading persons. Not their character, but their intentions, mood and state of mind when interacting with them. Nothing can communicate emotions like your hands.

edited because I couldn't spell if my life depended on it.

Stop wringing your hands.
I think a man's hands are one of the most attractive parts. Strong, slender hands with long fingers are best. As long as there are no liver spots or grease under the fingernails I like men's hands.

Ps. Maybe the main attraction is what a nice masculine hand might be capable of doing.
Pps. I read that Leonardo DiVinci was fascinated with birds and flight. He decided that, given the choice, he would rather have wings than arms and hands. I think Leo had his head up his butt.

I am entirely to your way of thinking, madam. The erotic potential of handplay is sadly overlooked, but that's okay: it just makes it better for us handymen.

Finger sucking is nice, but crude. A woman should take your hand, spread your fingers, and lick that pseudo-crotch between your fingers as if performing cunnilingus, showing you how she likes it: long and slow, or quick and tickly. Then you know you have a sexual artist on your hands. Literally.

One of the most deliciously obscene things I've ever had done to me was when a woman took my hand and slowly deep-throated herself on two of my fingers, her eyes locked on mine, shoving my fingers way down her throat without gagging. Christ! Instant erection...

If one accepts that sucking is simply the suction itself and not the interplay of lips, tongue and hand parts, then the experience might be crude, yes. It would be like having your hands cleaned with a Hoover wet-vac.

If that ever happens to you, you should sternly rebuke the woman.

Properly sucked, a hand or other body part should feel worshipped, not just wet.

"Of course," as Dennis Miller would say, "I could be wrong."

Icing, this is a beautiful description of something I love about hands but hadn't thought to express....And they really are strange little fleshy constructions, aren't they? All of those complicated joints and protrusions...It works great, but it seems like such an inefficient use of parts.

Hands seem to indicate that God or whatever else brought about life and its variations is an artist, not a scientist. And a bit on the eccentric side.

If you were the Creator of all life and decided to provide a limb that could grasp and manipulate objects, is this the design you'd come up with? Why not two opposing thumbs-forefingers on one hand, so that it wouldn't take two to do shoelaces, for example?
