Nothing is taboo, and trends? Haven't noticed any.

it is definitely discouraging to see that my thread has not been received well. In desperation,let me add something to it
By sexual taboos, i mean things like
1. What all is considered taboo in the society?
2. What all is considered taboo by men (individual opinion)?
3. What all is considered taboo by women (individual opinion)?
Let me first answer the questions myself
1. In Pakistan, sexual taboos vary from region to region. In western provinces, namely balochistan and NWFP, society is highly conservative. though their is lot of hypocrisy is involved as women are forced into a strict segregation but men, on the other hand, are free to get involved in any thing. Men of these areas are often euphemised as boy fuckers as homosexuality is considered to be rather common.
2. IN the province of Punjab, society is considerably liberal. Segrgation is less and affairs are not uncommon. Though, hypocrisy is present here too, but overall atmosphere is relaxed.
3. In the south eastern province of Sindh, societal attitudes are somewhat between both extremes.
4. Then their exist a difference in urban and rural culture. Although urban people are considered as degenerates by their rural counterparts, but illicit sex is more common in villages.
5. In urban areas, however, trends are modernising. Extramarital and premarital sex is becoming common. the info age, with the devices like camcorders and mobile phones with cameras is bringing out the proofs of these things in open.
6. Hypocrisy rules supreme even in the bedroom affairs. for example, giving head by a women is a big "no", but it is usually their. Men love it,though, they might not ask their wivies to do it but would love it from their gfs. though i know from personal experience, and from discussions from others, that even this is done by wives. Same is true for anal sex.
7. Swapping is also a trend, though in higher echelons of society.
8. Incest is not something that is common,but it is not outrightly extinct.
9. The only difference that i think that is different in our society, from the western cultures, is the hush hush treatment that is given to these things. Sex is something that itself is considered taboo, but is explored in all ways possible

Well I know of several different occurances that happen in different parts of the US that I have lived in. Now these have been my personal experiences that I have observed, so I dont know if that helps or not. I lived in Alaska for many years and in the rural villages it is not talked about but there is a lot of insest that happens... It is not talked about and is ignored by wives but most young women are raped by their male family memember so when they do get out of the villages they use sex as a way to show that they care because they do not know of any other way. And I say this because it has been told to me by young women from those areas...
As far as what is taboo in other areas, I just know that most of the people that I know in my life including family and friends think that anything that goes outside of so called normal sex of misionary style with minimal foreplay is considered self depricating. I was told after a hypothetical conversation with my mother that if I ever associated with people in the BDSM lifestyle I would no longer be allowed to be a part of her family... So even though BDSM is a large part of society it is still considered highly taboo...
Also according to federal laws in the united states, Anal sex of any form performed on male or female the performer or performee, you can be charged with jail time and given large fines if caught. not sure of the fines but they are steep and the jail time is fairly high too, but that is only if it is enforced. hope this helps
