Sexual harassment @ work

Does anyone else get bloody sexually harassed at work? I'm the youngest male in an office of 30 people, probably 50/50 m/f split. I don't know whether I should be pissed off with women making lewd comments to me or not.

It's all pretty harmless in terms of them seeing it as a bit of sport, but it does become so tiresome! I'm not going to sue my employer because I won't..I just won't, but does anyone else get this problem?

It has happened to me in the past. It began with lewd comments and obvious stares at my breasts, crotch etc. I repeatedly warned this co-worker (a married man) to stop, but he persisted, and when it finally escalated to physical touching I filed a complaint. The comments and stares were bad enough, but putting his hands on me went completely over the line. He's lucky he didn't get his face smashed in. Instead he was terminated after a very brief investigation. He was so pathetic that he actually did what he did in front of other people, which gave me plenty of ammo. Well, they rehired him after he promised to cease and desist with the harrassment. Do you think he lived up to that promise? It started back up almost immediately. He should have never been reinstated in the first place. I resigned not long after that. I certainly didn't want to be associated with a facility that thought so little about its employees.

I agree, but I'm not after a solution, I'm interested in how frequently this takes place.....I'm looking for a little solidarity...
