I started working on quite a long story for some time now. Character-background, plot, places, and the like are almost all finished and now it gets time to start with the actual writing.

But all my english is from school or books, some internet articles and of course many of the stories here. Reading is not the problem but knowing which words are fitting in a specific situation as much more harder. Other readers with similiar knowledge of english will probably not notice it, but I think people who speak it every day can identify writers with a different native language after no more than half a page. Knowing the "proper language" for sexual descriptions would be very helpfull.

Is there any list of terms used in sexual stories I could use or are there maybe some people here, who can make one with short discriptions in which situations a word would be fitting? Reading sexual stories in german is quite weired because everything seems to be much to direct and much to crude so maybe it's the same for pepole with english as their native language, but I think sometimes one word is less improper than another one.

Even if anyone of you would just take three or four words with to short sentences as description, I would be very greatfull.

Nah, I agree with you, it's very difficult not to sound crude when writing about sex in German, which is why I rarely ever try. English isn't half as bad.

There are real sex dictionaries online, such as this, but I'm sure that's a little more complex than you needed it...

Did you read through some of the english stories on here for inspiration? If I can find one that would make a good example of words being used, I'll post it here.

Oh, nevermind, I'm just blind... you did say you read through the stories. I'm not really sure what to tell you though, as I'm sure you've picked up the basic words already. Maybe you could give me some German words and I'll tell you if I know an english equivalent?
