Yes, waiting on PMs while trying to carry on a "live" private conversation on here can be slow. I have never tried to get sexual with someone on the forums/threads....too many eyes.

If I trust someone enough and become closer to them, then I take it to Skype. I see many others shouting out for KIK conversations but I do not use that one. Google Hangouts would also be a choice. Hope that helps somewhat.

Telegram is a good way to chat. It allows photo and video exchange as well as video chatting. You can choose your own name and identity. And even though you use your own phone number, you can hide that so that no one can contact you on your phone unless you allow it.

There are mobile and pc versions of Telegram as well and they can be synched so that you can take the chat with you if you have to leave your computer.
