Sooo, I'm thinking of ways to combine my oh so healthy fantasy life with my urge to actually have an apartment and not be homeless... and I had an idea. Sexting for money! Apparently it's a thing? So I started wondering A. How I would advertise such a service. B. WHERE I would advertise such a service. and C. What level of crazy is this, 1-10?

Similarly, does anyone know how one publishes smut through amazon e-books? Like, is there a set of guidelines that I should look out for?

There are "established" publishers who search here for writers who can fit their sales demographic. You get paid, but not terribly much.

Or you can go it alone, but my understanding is that making money that way might be even harder. Good luck with your nascent career as a sexter.

I don't want to be a wet blanket, but I would imagine that, like in any kind of sex work, you need to understand that you are going to be catering to your client's fantasies, not your own. If you are cool with that, good luck!

Eh, I'm ok with that. I've got a fairly heavy tendency towards submission, so I doubt it'll be a huge issue lol

I believe OF is a platform for sexting. It's well established, creators get 80%, and it's got an enormous user base.

I assume you would use other social media platforms like Twitter, Fetlife, maybe Instagram, maybe here to promote yourself and drive people to OF where they will pony up a monthly subscription fee plus extra for special sexting sessions.

I'm not sure if anything is crazy anymore. Grandmothers have OF pages and are getting dirty at Fet and who knows what. It's an open road out there. Be smart and safe and have fun.
