Sex Zombies?

Based on a weird dream I had.
Some sort of mind control or Covid side effect turns the populace into cum starved sex zombies. They aren't undead, just, mindless insane folks and its male and female sex fluids that spread it. They are driven wild by anyone who isn't infected and a virgin stands out to them like a light in the dark. The first thing the government does is evacuate the kids and quarantine the area as they study the phenomenon.

Who are the main characters? Scientists? A couple of young college students trying to get out of the zone? A retired couple trapped in their home?

For some reason the idea of using television characters as the main characters, (without naming them as such) feels right to me.

"Aaaaal! What are we going to do! Marcy is fucking Bud on the front lawn! What's going on!"

"Damn it Peg, if you don't shut up and let me think, so help me God, I'm going to kick you outside for Lenny and Squiggy!"

Peg blinks hard and thinks she might finally get laid. "Aaaaaalll!"

Oh I like the idea!

I would make the virus transferable through intercourse (basically an STD). So getting caught turns you into one of them. Which would give it that zombie horror feeling but with sex.

Cast I would go for a group of college students mixed with teachers to start out with, but they meet new people along the way and at the same time some of the main group fall victim to the afflicted. (Walking dead style cast).

That would give so much possibilities. Like one of the students sees his his mom or sister as a sex crazed zombie, he is safely with the group inside a bus, but has to watch in horror how she rides a man who wasn't lucky enough to find shelter. The man does seem to enjoy her pussy until he finally fills her up and turns into an afflicted himself.

I also love the idea of the afflicted being attracted to virgins in particular. Maybe some of the students who are virgins want to lose their status and people start fucking amongst the group. A creepy teacher offering to take the students virginities so the afflicted won't come after them as much? Of course all the students are 18+.

The creepy teacher fails in his attempts to seduce the college girls and finally everyone has had enough of him and he is abandoned in front of the retirement home where he is turned into an afflicted by a group of afflicted elderly women.

Maybe after most of them have lost their virginities for safety reasons there are only 2 shy guys left. They aren't popular and none of the girls wants to take their V-cards. However this way they still attract the afflicted, so a busty sensual female teacher steps up and offers to take their virginities.

I could go on and on with the possibilities here... absolutely LOVE the idea.

I’ve seen the concept done a few times. Big factor is the tone you want. Like Nightscream89’s idea I have seen work for horror manga (the creepy teacher especially).

For comedy I’d say maybe have a reveal at the end that the situation was completely misread (MC’s flight got delayed and he got a hotel room at a sex resort. The “zombies” are tracking virgins by armbands. There’s nothing supernatural going on but everyone else was playing into the fantasy) or it was a dumb accident that did it (like someone dropped a shit ton of viagra in the water supply)

For horror, I think Nightscream’s idea is a good start. You have the standard tropes of societal norms falling apart, people becoming tribalistic, etc. but then you escalate: everyone who is not a virgin observes the afflicted walking away. Military refuses to drop the quarantine so a few of the survivors go to see what’s going on and the afflicted are engaging in a mass orgy…but some of them are constructing an altar.

The survivors need to flee when the afflicted see them but they run into a person in a biohazard suit. She introduces herself as part of a military operation. She gives them food and takes them to a safe place to sleep. She says that since she’s ace, the afflicted leave her alone. She believes the infection is not biological, despite being spread by fluid by it rather Psychically or even supernatural. She believes something is coming through the portal.

On the plus side, she also just repaired her radio and is planning on calling an evac for the survivors. They all celebrate. They are getting rescued.

Then one of them wakes up in the night and they see the soldier going down on one of the survivors who are clearly afflicted.

She explains: the afflicted did leave her alone but when she made it to the altar, she heard the voice of the being that the afflicted are preparing the way for. It told her that it was a being of order. Once it arrived humanity would enter an endless orgy. No more war, no more division, just an endless seeking of pleasure. The soldier then admits that while she is ace, she likes satisfying partners and the afflicted are so grateful and open with what they want that she believes what the entity is saying. Humanity will enter a carnal but peaceful age and she wants to help Shepard it in. She infected the food hoping the effects wouldn’t hit till the evac but she’ll be satisfied with brining more people into the fold. After all: she just needs to find more survivors.

Horror comedy:

“Mom, there’s zombies!”

“Okay, hide upstairs!”

“Mom, why is the lock on the outside?”

“Oh sorry sweetie. I’m afraid I got infected. Don’t worry though. You know my friend Alice? She got infected too. I know she’s a bit older than you normally like but she’s always thought you were cute…and she has a son…who…oh, went to boarding school. Sorry sweetie, mommy has needs. Alice will be here in a bit, enjoy yourself!”
